Casa La Cumbre is located on Montañés Hill above the town.
The entire house, the private swimming pool with outdoor shower, the covered verandas to the east, south, and west, and the driveway area with garage and parking spaces are all on one level, so you do not have to climb any stairs and can conveniently unload your vehicle. In the fully equipped house you will find a very large kitchen, a living and dining room with a dining table for up to 8 people, two comfortable sofas and a large TV screen with many channels in almost all languages. Additionally, there is the “Costa Tropical” program, the unobstructed view of at least 30 kilometers of coastline from the pool and from the covered verandas to the south and west.

Location and surroundings of object
Casa La Cumbre is located at about 175 m above sea level, about 600 m from the beach of Cotobro and 2 km from the center of the village. Therefore, you should have a vehicle on site, which you are welcome to leave in the garage.
The steep Montañés hill can be reached by a narrow tarred road. Behind Casa La Cumbre begins the agricultural mountain land. Inside the house it is very quiet, only on the terraces you can occasionally hear the national road. In the center of Almuñécar and on its numerous beaches you will find many stores, restaurants and leisure activities. Almuñécar is located on the Autovía del Mediterraneo from Valencia to Cádiz, which passes through many tunnels here and cannot be seen or heard from Casa La Cumbre. Málaga and Granada (via the Autovía de la Sierra Nevada) can be reached in an hour. Nerja with the Balcón de Europa, the steep valley of the Río Verde (Otívar) and the Sierra Nevada, which is covered with snow until midsummer, are worthwhile excursions.
For those traveling by air, I recommend the airport of Málaga and renting a car there. The airports of Granada and Almería are also within an hour's drive. In the center of Almuñécar there is a bus station with numerous connections.

If the tenant cancels up to the 22nd day before arrival for reasons for which he is responsible, the deposit will not be refunded. If the tenant cancels between the 21st and 2nd day before arrival for reasons for which he is responsible, the landlord is entitled to 90% of the rental price. Check-in from 17:00, check-out until 11:00, deviations are possible on request.
Pets are allowed only exceptionally on request. Pets also live in the building: geckos are kept specifically to eat mosquitoes, so my guests are less likely to be bitten.
Accessibility: all rooms, verandas, garage, terrace, swimming pool and Jacuzzi are accessible without steps - there are only low steps as rainwater protection.
Casa La Cumbre is a non-smoking house. Smoking is only allowed outside. Parties are not allowed.
In accordance with Andalusian law, all guests must provide their name, ID number, birthday and place of birth prior to travel. Only the registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
I will not be present personally. However, I will be available to answer your questions by e-mail or phone. In urgent cases the house manager on site will help you. After the booking confirmation you will receive the very detailed guest handbook from me by e-mail.
The WLAN does not cover the whole property. Casa La Cumbre is almost 50 years old, so despite many renovations, not everything is dewy.

Casa La Cumbre - unique location!!!
Beautiful and very well-equipped vacation home with an absolutely unique view over the bays!
The location is definitely unbeatable; we had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Even at 35 degrees, there is always a terrace with shady and airy spots, and the pool invites you to cool off.
Service and communication from booking to checkout were quick and uncomplicated, and even with minor issues, they were always there with prompt feedback and solutions. Absolutely recommended - it doesn't get better than this!

Casa La Cumbre, Almuñécar
Tastefully and excellently equipped detached house with private swimming pool, jacuzzi, barbecue area and boules court as well as covered sun terraces to the east, south and west with fantastic unobstructed views over the sea to Morocco. To the north, you look into the mountains, where we went on several all-day hikes. We were allowed to harvest the ripe fruits in the orchard such as mango, star fruit, orange, tangerine and lemon. A problem with the washing machine was solved by the landlord within a few days. The Sahara sand from two storms was cleaned within a week.
All in all: a well-run house with exemplary service.

A great house with a wonderful view
Me and my family had a very pleasant week in Casa La Cumbre. The sea view is breathtaking, and the entire house very comfortable. We also enjoyed the garden. I took a swim in the pool every morning, even though it was November.
