Holiday home with dogs
Overall, the holiday home was very nicely located, fenced, and also quite well equipped. Unfortunately, the slatted frame in the double bed was defective upon arrival, causing the mattresses to hang crookedly, essentially unusable. We reported it to the landlord immediately. She promised to take care of it. When we still hadn't heard anything 4 days later and we were on holiday. After we had informed her in writing, suddenly there was a call from the landlord that finally, after 8 days, a craftsman would come to repair it. The landlord claimed it had not been possible earlier; the craftsman looked puzzled when I told him how long the bed had been broken. The cleaning staff on site should have noticed the defect long before the rental. After the vacation, my partner and I both had back problems and had to seek treatment. Communication with the landlord was very slow from the beginning, and the compensation for the defective bed was also petty. Since we didn't want to fuss any longer and had no desire for high legal costs, we left it at that, but we will seek a different rental next time and cannot recommend the landlord of the holiday home for these reasons, although the house itself was fine.

Die Vermieterin behauptete, es wäre nicht früher möglich gewesen, der Handwerker schaute irritiert, als ich ihm erzählte, wie lange das Bett schon kaputt war. Die Reinigungskraft vor Ort hätte den Defekt längst vor der Vermietung feststellen müssen.
Nach dem Urlaub hatten mein Partner und ich beide Rückenprobleme und mussten in Behandlung.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war von Anfang an sehr schleppend, ebenso kleinlich fiel der Schadenersatz für das defekte Bett aus. Da wir uns nicht länger rumärgern wollten und keine Lust auf hohe Anwaltskosten hatten, haben wir es dabei belassen, werden uns aber das nächste Mal um eine andere Vermietung bemühen und können die Vermieterin des Ferienhauses aus diesen Gründen nicht weiter empfehlen, obwohl das Haus sonst in Ordnung war.
