I would recommend this place to anyone with a big group because it has many bedrooms, a lovely terrace with a BBQ area and great spaces for kids and adults to enjoy themselves together.

After four nights here, I could move freely. The adjacent garden house offered everyone privacy and at the same time a great place for communal meals. The bathrooms were practically designed and there were many spots to relax after the hikes, which I liked the most.

We had a fantastic time in this vacation home! It was spacious enough for our group, and the ability to connect the two halves of the house made it perfect for our family reunion. The surrounding nature was stunning, especially the hiking trails along the Rennsteig. Strongly recommended for anyone who wants to get away from it all!

We arrived late, parking directly at the entrance worked very well. The kitchen had everything for cooking together, so we could easily prepare meals. Numerous bathrooms contributed to a relaxing stay.

The dining table was large enough for all of us, and we appreciated the convenience of the dishwasher and refrigerator in the kitchen. Overall, a solid choice for a group trip.

We stayed here for a weekend, and the amenities were exactly what we needed. The kitchen had everything, including a coffee maker and a toaster. The proximity to local dining options made it easy to explore Thuringian cuisine. A good base for outdoor activities!

The house is located on beautiful hiking trails. The terrace has no shade and no roof. The bed linen was already very worn, some with holes. The accommodation was not clean. The heating was defective and we had no hot water for showering on the first day. However, the landlord ordered a craftsman despite the holiday and had the defect repaired. The lawn is only mowed once a year, so it is more for the eye than for using the area. Across is a nice inn, and the house is suitable for large groups!
