Location and surroundings of object
Our detached holiday home is located in the Zeeland Village park in the village of Scharendijke. The village is situated at the foot of the Brouwersdam and close to the North Sea beach and the Grevelingenmeer.
In the surroundings of Scharendijke there are many pleasant entertainment options for young and old!
For example, you can take wonderful walks on the North Sea beach; where you can also enjoy culinary delights at various seaside restaurants. The charming Zierikzee, where it is delightful to stroll through medieval streets with nice shops, is definitely worth a visit.
Burgh Haamstede, with its unspoiled high dunes, is wonderful for walking and taking beautiful photos!
The Grevelingenmeer, a favorite among divers, is located 500 meters from the park.
The lively Renesse is 4 km away.
In short, a great area to relax and unwind! The park offers the following facilities:

- bicycle rental in the village,
- children's playgrounds, and
- playing field.
In the village of Scharendijke, next to the park and within walking distance, you will find a large supermarket that is open every day.
The large (650 m²), sunny garden offers plenty of privacy and is partially fenced. Outdoor furniture (including 2 sunbeds) and a parasol are provided. At the back, the large garden borders a pond.

Free cancellation possible up to 90 days before the arrival date.
It is wise to take out cancellation insurance. Cancellation by the renter must always be done by email. - If canceled up to 90 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded. - If canceled within 5 weeks up to the day of arrival, 100% of the rental fee is due.

Environment Scharendijke originated in the 15th century on a dike. After the completion of the Brouwersdam in 1972, the village developed into a center for water sports. With the nearby North Sea beaches and the Grevelingenmeer within walking distance, Scharendijke is the ideal place for surfing, sailing and diving. The Grevelingenmeer is the largest and cleanest inland saltwater lake in Europe. The Grevelingenmeer is a popular windsurfing area and offers fantastic opportunities for all water sports such as sailing, fishing, canoeing, diving and rowing. The boat trips are very popular The wide, clean and miles long North Sea beaches with various cozy beach pavilions are 2.5 km away. Also fine to reach by car, the Brouwersdam is wonderful for cycling and walking, with a great view of the Grevelingenmeer on one side of the dam and the North Sea on the other. The lively, touristy Renesse, where there is always something to do, and the idyllic Burgh-Haamstede with its lighthouse are 5 and 7 km away. These villages are also easily accessible by bike through the beautiful dunes and forests. The picturesque Brouwershaven with its large marina and old historic houses is 5 km away. The town of Zierikzee with its medieval streets, old inner harbor, stores and restaurants is definitely worth a visit. Also visit the Delta Park "Neeltje Jans" on an island in the Oosterschelde. Here you can get information about the spectacular delta works and the construction of the flood barrier. It is nice to mention that this area has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.
