Very nice holiday home and very quiet location

The hotel was very nice and the contact with the Fröhlich family was very good. Free parking nearby. Approx. 20 metres from the house. Anyone who has ever been to Ostend will appreciate this. But here we didn't have to worry about parking. The landlords are very keen to make sure you have a relaxed holiday. Barbecue, charcoal etc. everything is available. We also felt very comfortable in the small garden.
The equipment of the house is very high quality. The beach is only 5 minutes away by car. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired. We will come again, no question. I also find the price for the high season completely ok. Of course, if you are looking for something to complain about, you will find it. That's just the way it is everywhere. The return of the house was also problem-free. There is also a fully comprehensible statement of the rent at the end. The deposit was on the account as quickly as I had transferred it. All in all a perfect holiday. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Fröhlich family once again.

Beautiful holiday

Very nice holiday home in a quiet location

The contact with the landlord was very friendly and completely uncomplicated. The whole process went completely smoothly. We received a lot of valuable information about the Belgian coast and the immediate surroundings from Fam Fröhlich
The holiday home is very good and equipped with everything. You really don't have to do without anything. There is a barbecue and garden furniture in the small, quiet garden

In conclusion, you feel at home here and spend a carefree holiday.
Gladly again!!!

Holiday home in Westende 2 bedrooms

We spent 1 week in this holiday home in July 2020. All the information and pictures are correct.

The contact with the landlords was great. Problem-free handling

Price in the main season is completely ok
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need

The stairs to the bedrooms take some getting used to at first, as they are very narrow.

Distance to the beach as stated. We rented bicycles. Then you can get there quickly.
There are plenty of restaurants etc. on the promenade.

Anytime again...

The house is very well equipped and very clean. The kitchen is new and perfectly furnished, making cooking a real pleasure. Our dog Tara also loved it. There are many things we could mention here, but we can't list them all. In short: it was the perfect vacation - but unfortunately too short. That's why we are already looking forward to the next time!

Lovely holiday in Middelkerke-Westende

Very nice holiday home in a quiet location. Since Belgium is not very big, you can quickly get everywhere. We visited Bruges, Ghent, Ostend, and Brussels and were thrilled. The beach is also close by.
The holiday home is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything, you don't need to miss out on anything. The Fröhlich family provides holiday guests with all information, they are very friendly and helpful.
Would love to come again!!!

Spent a great week there

With our spontaneous last-minute booking, everything worked out perfectly. The key was sent by express delivery, everything was as described and absolutely clean, the new kitchen worked very well. All dishes, pots, and cutlery were available, even kitchen roll and cleaning utensils. Great quiet seating area on the terrace in the small garden behind the house, the property is fenced, our dog could move around freely and not run away. The way to the beach leads through the village, on the way back you can stock up on bread and cake at the two bakeries or buy meat and sausages at the butcher. by the way, there is even a grill with charcoal in the house. all in all, an all-around carefree holiday home without traffic in front of the house, the cars park 20 meters away on the street. Easter holiday was over much too quickly in great weather, with nostalgia we returned the key in the prepared return envelope.

As a family with 2 children, we decided to take a short holiday in Westende at very short notice, and yet the landlords made everything run smoothly and without any problems.
We were able to discuss the most important things by phone in advance and then received many tips, a map and important information by post.
The cottage itself really lives up to what the photos and the description text promise.
It is clean, well-maintained, in good condition, in a quiet location, fortunately for us away from the hustle and bustle of tourism and yet not too far from the sandy beach.
It is equipped with everything you could wish for in a holiday flat and everything you need for self-catering.
The price-performance ratio is right, the whole transaction with the landlords very friendly and serious, no rip-off
Also the transfer of the remaining deposit was very honest, fast and fair!
The landlords have consistently shown that it is important to them that the holiday guests feel comfortable and that they lack nothing, even though they themselves were not on site.
We are grateful for the wonderful time and had the feeling of coming home to the holiday flat even during the few days of our holiday.

Cosy holiday home

We have a lovely week in Westende.
The house is very clean and cosy and equipped with everything.
Our dog also felt very comfortable. The dog beach is super clean and easy to reach on foot.
Family Fröhlich took good care of us and wrote down everything we needed to know and explained it on the phone.
We will gladly come back again

Beautiful house in a quiet location

Actually, one could say everything in one sentence
We were satisfied
The house is quietly located in a residential complex, has a nice little garden and the furnishings are very good
The care by the Fröhlich family is very good, they really take care from start to finish and are very friendly
We were there with our dog and everything we needed was there for him too
The weather also played along, so we have no reason to complain
Except for one thing, but the Fröhlich family has no influence on that
The Belgian bread and rolls are simply inedible. So if you want to enjoy good bread like we do, it's best to bring it from home

Cosy holiday home in a quiet location

We rented the holiday home for 1 week for 4 people (2 adults,
2 children). The contact with the landlord in advance was very nice and uncomplicated. The whole process went completely smoothly. We received a lot of valuable information about the Belgian coast and the immediate surroundings from the landlords when we signed the rental contract.

The holiday home itself was very well and comfortably equipped and we found it very clean.
The kitchen was great for cooking, and the garden had a great barbecue and new garden furniture
The mattresses in the beds were great.
There was a large comfortable couch in the living room.
The bathroom was clean, there was a bathtub with shower partition, so you could take a great shower

We rented bikes in town and used them to get to the beach, the tram stop and into town, which was very convenient and comfortable

We felt very comfortable and are already thinking about renting this house again next year.

Holiday in September 2017

We had a super relaxing vacation and the whole week had amazing weather. The cottage is located in a very well-maintained and quiet complex. It has everything you need for a vacation. The Fröhlich family is very nice and accommodating. We really liked that we could bring our dog with us, and he felt really comfortable. Highly recommended and would love to come back again!!

Urlaub mit Hund

We had a very nice week. The house is small but nice and equipped with everything necessary. Great that we could bring our dog, who also felt comfortable. The landlords take excellent care to ensure that one can enjoy the stay. We already had so much information about the area in advance and immediately found our way around.

Relaxing vacation

We had a pleasant time at the holiday house. It was nice that our two small dogs could come along, bowls were also available. Comfortable garden furniture, a grill, and a parasol rounded off the Mediterranean feeling. The landlords are very dedicated and take care of everything and have good tips for trips and more. Ferienhaus

We were with 2 people and a small dog in this holiday home on the North Sea coast. The house has everything you need. A toaster and an oven would be nice. For older people, the steep staircase in the house should be mentioned, it takes getting used to. We think the price/performance ratio should be reconsidered. You cannot park directly at the house, which makes loading and unloading difficult. The road by the house is very busy.

Affordable holiday home for a reasonable price

Located on the outskirts of the village, in a quiet area, beautiful landscape. Small cottage, but sufficient space, has everything you need. The beach is within walking distance, and you can also get around by bike or tram. A car is not necessarily needed. The landlords are very nice and caring. Lots of information was provided in advance. Highly recommended!
