Beautifully situated cabin with a lovely lake view from both the kitchen and the living room. Please note that the house is reached via a steep slope, which may be difficult to climb if you have mobility issues. Charming glass-enclosed veranda with the lake panorama as the main feature. There is also a patio on the other side of the house, allowing you to choose between sun or shade as you prefer. With an open view over Lake Stora Färgen’s clean waters (the municipality collects its drinking water here) and a small stream running through the property, this gem is perfectly located for those who wish to enjoy warm summer evenings from the veranda. The accommodation is divided between a main building and a cozy guest cottage that offers a degree of privacy. In the guest cottage, you will find a family bunk bed with a double bed below and a single bed above, as well as an extra bed. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room with a fireplace, creating a pleasant atmosphere should the evening feel a little chilly. Firewood can be purchased for 200 SEK. There are two bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with a single bed. Bathroom with toilet, shower, and washing machine. Comfortably and tastefully furnished cabin with a short travel distance from Gothenburg’s vibrant city life, and with all of Västergötland’s culture and nature as your “neighbor,” this cabin is a truly unique place to experience. If you prefer swimming or canoeing, it is only 100 meters down to the lake shore. Fishing permits can be purchased, and the barbecue is ready for your evening meal. Welcome to a wonderful holiday stay in a beautiful setting!

Terrace, winter garden, and view of the lake Recommendations: Please inform the landlord that the path to the lake is overgrown and difficult to pass. The neighbors down by the lake are unfriendly and were very reluctant to let us use the private path to the lake. The house from the outside is quite run-down and dirty. The outdoor furniture as well. The canoe too. Everything inside is top-notch. The access road was difficult to navigate in the rain. Despite all-wheel drive, our wheels often spun when driving up.
