The holiday flat is in a very quiet location, 4 km from Königstein, in the district of Leupoldishain/ Nikolsdorf. Here you can unwind and actively relax. The camping site - Nikolsdorfer Berg - is nearby.
Nikolsdorf is surrounded by sandstone massifs (Nikolsdorfer Wände, Spanghorn ) mainly on a plateau within sight of Königstein Fortress, Lilienstein, Quirl and Pfaffenstein.
Leupoldishain as German Waldhufendorf new foundations and were first mentioned in documents in 1329.
Both villages were united at the beginning of the 20th century and incorporated into the town of Königstein in 1999.

We felt very comfortable!
We found the holiday apartment of 36sqm to be very spacious and comfortable. The beautiful new bathroom offers a lot of space. We received many good tips from the Bender family on what to see and where to find the best views. The kitchen is very well equipped, even though we only had breakfast. A bakery with a wide selection is just a 5-minute drive away. Overall, we would like to thank the Bender family for the wonderful time and hospitality. The vacation rental is a 100% recommendation for us.

Quiet but central
We were received very nicely by the Bender family. The holiday apartment is located in a quiet and central area, perfect for reaching all the sights in the area. 3 days are of course too short. The apartment is fully sufficient for 2 people and equipped with everything necessary. The beds were comfortable even for us with "back problems." The bathroom is very nice. We can highly recommend this apartment.

We had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed very warmly, the apartment was well located, and everything was very clean. 3 days were enough for us, but there is probably still much more to discover. We highly recommend the alpaca tour at Lilienstein as well. Looking forward to next time!

One can only feel comfortable here.
At the Bender family's place, you can only feel comfortable; they are very hospitable, helpful, and lovable. The small, cozy apartment - perfect for 2 people - is well-maintained and clean, and in the kitchenette, you will find everything you need for your holiday. The holiday home is located above Königstein (Leupoldishain) in a very quiet area and is an ideal place to relax from the day trips (we did a lot of hiking) in the beautiful Saxon Switzerland. There is a cozy seating area in the sunny garden; only the woodpecker knocks here, otherwise there is peaceful silence. One can start hiking directly from here, there is a beautiful panoramic path with a view of Königstein Fortress or a very interesting labyrinth. Otherwise, this accommodation was an ideal starting point for us to explore the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with the most beautiful hikes in the Saxon Switzerland (Hikeline hiking guide). To get to the starting point of the hikes, we personally use the car, in combination with the bike (Elbe River bike path). The price/performance ratio is very good, we will recommend the apartment.
