The house consists of a spacious, well-equipped kitchen-living room (dishwasher, filter coffee machine and espresso machine for the gas stove, microwave/grill ), two bedrooms (one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find a dining area with corner bench and a seating area with 2 rattan armchairs. The rooms with high wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are lovingly furnished. The house has gas heating. On the partially covered terrace is a nice sitting area with comfortable garden furniture, and there are also loungers and deck chairs. A second seating area is located in the green under the trees. You have a beautiful view of Monte Amiata and Radicofani.

Welcome to Podere San Vincenzo by Monika Christ - Ricken and Wolfgang Ricken. Since 1988 we know and love the beautiful surroundings of Pitigliano, have also found our dream house here, which we have gradually expanded and extended since 1993. Sustainability in everyday life as well as on vacation are very important to us. Instead of a pool we have chosen a natural bathing pond with plants and animals. We have also built a photovoltaic system so that we can supply our Podere with our own solar power. A well supplies us with high quality water. Our Podere San Vincenzo is very quiet and has a beautiful panoramic view over the southern Tuscan countryside. We rent out two holiday apartments on our Podere, which combine Italian living culture and German comfort to a special degree. In the main house there is the small holiday apartment Tramonto (2 persons) in an annex. The holiday home Alba (4 persons) has its own driveway and is separated from the rest of the property by a fence. Both apartments offer beautiful panoramic views of the Tuscan hills, especially the sunsets that you can see from Tramonto are unforgettable for our guests. We take care of our fruit and herb garden as well as our raised beds according to biological principles, we also like to let our guests participate in it depending on the season and the amount. Directly with us you can taste wine and olive oil, which our Italian friends produce, also purchase and refine with it as well as with the aromatic herbs delicious Italian dishes. Eggs from our free-range chickens. Marmalades and vinegars refined with our herbs complete our offer. If you are missing recipes, you will find our cookbook in both apartments and we are also happy to pass on tips. Our cookbook is designed with our own watercolors and so you will also find in the apartments impressions of southern Tuscany in their own photos and watercolors, but there is also a selection of books, so that the holiday reading is assured. Our dog Selva and our cats enjoy the Tuscan country life as much as we do.
