Holiday home for max. 4 persons, up to 2 dogs allowed, property completely fenced. The house is located in the municipality of Dirkshorn, distance to the beach Callantsoog about 13 km, to the beach Sint Maartenzee about 6 km. The nearest larger town is Schagen, about 4 km away. The beautiful Ijsselmeer is about 28 km away.
The bungalow is equipped with a double bed, in the separate room there are 2 single beds. There is a gas stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, egg boiler, toaster, coffee maker and pad machine. There is also a coin-operated washing machine in the house. The rear terrace is completely covered, equipped with garden table, garden chairs. There is also a large barbecue in the garden. In the bathroom there is a toilet, shower, washbasin and a bathroom cabinet. The house is heated with central heating. A parking place belonging to the house is available. You have to bring bed linen, towels and dry cloths. The park has a cafeteria, a playground and sports field are available.

Our FH is located in the park Groenhart / Dirkshorn. This park lives up to its name "Groenhart" - many green spaces invite you to relax and unwind. The park is very centrally located, the beach, the cities of Schagen, Alkmaar, Callantsoog etc. are easily accessible by bike. There is a well-stocked Spar market in the village of Dirkshorn, and all other shopping sources are within easy reach.

Unfortunately a disappointment
The first thing that struck me negatively is the very close proximity of the holiday homes there. I know many other holiday parks where there is significantly more space between the houses. The gardens are right next to each other. Fortunately, during our vacation time, there were only a few other guests there, so it mattered less. The second disappointment followed upon entering the holiday home. The floor in the dining and living room there resembles a floor found in warehouses or workshops and radiates little to no coziness. Too bad, the pictures on the portal give a different impression and show a different floor... Furthermore, the pictures on the portal show sight and wind protection elements, which, however, are withheld from the vacation guests. They are equipped with chains + locks, so that use is excluded. Why, only the landlord knows. Unfortunately, the hedges surrounding the outdoor area are not dense and high enough to create a sense of privacy, and therefore an additional privacy screen would have been nice, at least when eating at the table in the covered part of the garden. Lastly, the house has a washing machine, but its use must be paid for with coins, which I cannot understand. The landlord's statement that she is concerned guests might wash all the laundry at the end of their vacation is also something I cannot understand. Who washes their laundry on the last day of vacation and possibly takes it home wet? The surroundings were also not optimal for me as a dog owner. During our one-week stay, there was a so-called noise device in one of the neighboring fields that went off three times at half-hour intervals from morning to evening. One of my two dogs is a very anxious, timid dog who panicked and disappeared in the house at every bang and later didn't want to go into the garden at all. . . . .

Hier muss ich einfach Stellung nehmen.
Das die Häuser zu dicht aneinander stehen ist schlichtweg nicht wahr, man hat ein ausreichend großes Grundstück zur Verfügung,zum nächsten Haus ist genügend Platz. Der Boden im Wohnzimmer ist wegen seiner hygienischen und gut zu reinigenden Eigenschaft verlegt worden und wird im Winter noch bis zur Küche ergänzt.
Das dieser hochqualitative Boden nur in Lagerhallen verlegt wird entspricht nicht der Wahrheit, man läuft warm darauf und unser Hund liegt gerne drauf. Warum sollte man nicht mal was anderes wagen,als Vinyl oder Laminat.
Die Hecke um unser Grundstück ist genügend hoch,warum soll man sich gänzlich abschotten,wir reden gerne mal mit vorbeikommenden Leuten, deswegen hat man trotzdem mehr als genügend Privatsphäre.Die Waschmaschine mit Bezahlautomat dient lediglich der Kostenminimierung,wir bezahlen Strom und Wasser, Waschpulver ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir haben wirklich schon erlebt, daß Gäste zum Urlaubsende ihre gesamte Wäsche gewaschen haben,um sie sauber mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Wenn das jeder Gast machen würde,wurden unsere Strom und Wasserkosten explodieren.
Die Knallgeräte auf einem der (weit entlegenen) Felder ist nur zum Schutz des Kohls vor der Ernte gedacht,wenn die Felder abgeerntet sind, werden diese Geräte wieder entfernt,die Lautstärke ist meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht störend. Auch wir hatten einen ängstlichen,schreckhaften Hund,er hat aber nach und nach gelernt, daß diverse Dinge gar nicht so schlimm sind,wie haben ihn behutsam mit allem vertraut gemacht.
Das ist meine Sicht der Dinge.

Like every time, a beautiful vacation.
We have been coming to this house for years. We are, as always, very satisfied. Every holidaymaker in this park is very friendly. We also had many cozy evenings on the terrace. The dogs also felt very comfortable. The daily walks around Dirkshorn are highly recommended. It was, as always, a successful vacation, and we are always happy to return. Super house for the perfect holiday
The house is top equipped everything you need is available.
Super location in a park. We love Holland and will book this house again when we come back. Also the super contact with the landlady was first class.

lovingly furnished and cosy holiday home
We stayed for the second time in this beautifully and comfortably furnished holiday home. The garden is completely fenced. There is a covered terrace at the house, which invites you to linger. Due to the great weather (only sunshine), we often stayed there, both for breakfast and for a barbecue in the evening.
We always like to come back to this beautiful holiday home.
