The town centre with pedestrian zone and the interesting harbour with its varied gastronomy, steamer moorings and fishing opportunities are less than a 5-minute walk away. The bright and modern furnished holiday home (DTV classified, 96 sqm living space, suitable for 2-4 pers., WLAN) scores not only with its comprehensive furnishings, but also with a beautiful outdoor area. The 623 sqm fenced garden with well-kept lawn has a climbing house with slide for the little guests and invites the parents to a sunny terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue
There is also a carport, two car parking spaces and a garden shed where bicycles or sports accessories can be safely stored
Inside, there is a state-of-the-art kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge with icemaker and freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and cooker with oven, ...perfect for preparing a family meal
The separate dining area with seating for 6 invites you to linger just as much as the cosy living area with its cosy leather seating set. A large flat-screen TV, DVD, CD music system, Playstation II and a collection of books entertain the guest when the weather is not quite so good
The holiday home has two separate bedrooms upstairs, each equipped with a built-in wardrobe, dressing chair and double beds (180 x 200 and 160 x 200). The stylish full bathroom attracts with shower/tub/WC, sufficient storage space and towel warmer. The house also has a second guest bathroom on the ground floor, so that you don't get in each other's way even in the morning when the house is fully occupied.
The entire house is laid out with light-coloured carpeting or easy-care tiles and has a washing machine and dryer, making it ideal for families with small children
Anglers are also welcome in this flat, which is not far from the harbour. Sufficient freezing facilities for the caught fish and a storage space for fishing tackle are available
A child/baby equipment consisting of travel cot, high chair and toilet attachment can be provided free of charge on request. Four in-house bicycles can be used free of charge for relaxing bike tours along the Schlei.
The overnight price includes a linen set consisting of 1 x bed linen and 3 towels per person. Change of bed linen for a fee, non-smokers, year-round rental

The house is located in the historic Prinzenstraße, not far from the city centre. The house offers a beautiful view of the Amanda Mill. Kappeln (Danish: Kappel) is a town in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany). The town on the Schlei is a fishing village and was a garrison town (Olpenitz) until June 2006. Kappeln has a central function for eastern Angeln and northern Schwansen. In addition to a small harbour, Kappeln has several pleasure boat moorings

The Schlei
Recreation and fun on holiday, for the whole family
The Schlei stretches 42 km from Schleimünde at Lotseninsel, Olpenitz - south and Maasholm - north, via Kappeln and Arnis to the town of Schleswig, where you will find a small island, Möweninsel. The Schlei separates the districts of Angeln and Schwansen and has an average width of 1.3 km and an average depth of 3 m
There are many natural bays along the Schlei. The widest part of the Schlei is between Missunde and Schleswig, where the Große Breite and Kleine Breite are located. Both are good places for sailing, rowing and fishing. The Schlei contains brackish water, the salinity of which decreases from Schleimünde to Schleswig. To the left and right, lake-like extensions, so-called Noore, have formed, which are connected to the Schlei
The Schlei is a popular sailing area, the partly touristy Schlei region is an important local recreation area for the nearby state capital Kiel - and of course also for the major city south of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg
