Description

The house is located on a 600m² fenced plot surrounded by a hedge with a lawn for sunbathing, garden furniture, barbecue facilities in a fire bowl and a large covered terrace. The house is modern and comfortably furnished. The spacious living area with open kitchen (electric kettle, coffee machine, oven, stove-ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment), cosy sofa, fireplace and a large covered terrace the cosy sofa, fireplace (firewood is available), reclining armchair, TV and dining table provide a feel-good atmosphere. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and 2 bedside tables with bedside lamps.
The bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling shower, wall-mounted toilet and washbasin, hairdryer and electric towel dryer.

Gernrode is a small idyllic resort in the Harz Mountains and is surrounded by forests, meadows and hills. There are several hiking trails in the immediate vicinity and the Bode and Selke valleys invite you to go hiking. The region also offers a wide range of leisure and recreational activities, such as cycling, climbing, swimming and much more. Gernrode has 2 bathing ponds and the towns of Quedlinburg, Thale and Wernigerode are not far away and well worth a visit.
The town of Quedlinburg charges a visitor's tax of 3 euros per person per night.

Beautiful holiday home by the forest

We were thrilled with the accommodation; everything you need for your stay is available. It is clean and also quiet. The best part is that the hiking trails are right at the doorstep, and the dogs feel right at home there. 100% recommendation.

Perfect holiday cottage

Very quiet holiday home, perfect for us and for those who do not always want to be out and about but also want to enjoy peace and relaxation. Everything you need is available in terms of furnishings, and the cleanliness and well-maintained condition of the whole property were also far better than we have experienced in the past with other properties. It was the best house for us so far. We really enjoyed our vacation and would love to come back.

Very nice holiday home

We spent a long weekend in this beautiful, very quietly located holiday home.
It is very nicely furnished and lacks nothing.
If you like the quiet, you are in very good hands.
We had a very friendly and nice contact with the landlady. We will be very happy to come back!

Great short holiday

We enjoyed our short holiday very much in the very clean "Haus am Waldrand". It is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. You can ideally relax by the fireplace and have a cosy time. Perfect location for hiking, walking or just getting some fresh air close to the forest. Just like on the terrace or at the fireplace you can relax in every season. Super cosy house, which is really recommendable. Additional plus points for the uncomplicated communication and very nice and friendly hosts. We will be back again and again!

Highly recommended!

We spent our autumn holiday in the Harz mountains. It was simply wonderful. The booking and communication was always friendly and uncomplicated. Questions were answered quickly by email. The object is not immediately visible at first sight but the description from the owners was very helpful. The bungalow offers space for 2 people and is well equipped. The only thing we found questionable was the patio door, which doubles as the entrance door. It didn't seem secure enough to lock. It's just the right place to get some peace and quiet. There is no Wi-Fi, which didn't bother us at all. The furnishings were very good and everything seemed very new. The place is very central, you really have a lot to discover in the area! We felt very comfortable, even I as a very pregnant woman found this object to feel good. The terrace invites you to linger, just like the small fireplace. We can only thank you for the great stay and would be happy to recommend this property to others!
