The colorful, up to 600-year-old half-timbered houses, the 500-year-old town hall, the castle, the smallest half-timbered house (now a museum), and the "Krummel House" are world-renowned and sure to captivate you.

The holiday park is beautifully situated and very quiet. We appreciated the private terrace for morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped and felt like a home away from home. Wernigerode Castle was just a short train ride away, which was a nice bonus.

This place is a whole vibe, super spacious and cozy - perfect for family hangouts or relaxed nights with friends. The kitchen has everything for a little cooking session. Also, the view of the Harz Mountains? Totally aesthetic goals.

Our experience in the holiday park was quite pleasant. The house itself was clean and practical, with enough space for our group. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, which made cooking enjoyable. We appreciated the quiet surroundings, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The nearby attractions like the Harz narrow-gauge railway added a nice touch to our stay. Overall, it was a good place for a relaxing vacation.

The house was great and Wernigerode was top! But the unfriendliness of the lady at the reception was the icing on the cake. I booked for 8 adults and a dog at bel Villa. The holiday row house is designed for 10 people. If the houses are normally not allowed to be booked with so many people and you only have 2 people in your PC, the guest can't do anything about that. Snippy, argumentative, and not customer-oriented. That dampened my enjoyment of my stay a bit. Even after I showed her my confirmation, she was argumentative and patronizing, allowing us to stay in this house, even though it is only permitted for 4 adults and 4 children. However, there are 6 fixed beds and two mattresses on a high plateau and a pull-out sofa available. There were also enough blankets and pillows. This lady was in no way customer-oriented. When checking out, I told her that there were enough beds and that no one had to sleep on the pull-out sofa. I was quite satisfied because everything was resolved well. Even then, she still verbally followed up and gave me a snappy reaction. Where does such a thing happen? She should be trained again in guest/customer conversations, or a de-escalation course would be great.
