Description

The property is located on a private plot of 6000 square metres, which consists mainly of forest. The upper part of the property is lavishly landscaped and planted, the lower part is left natural. The holiday home is on the ground floor of a 2-storey building. The upper floor and the annex as well as a part of the garden are inhabited or used by the owners. The flat is 30 sqm in size and has a living/dining/kitchen with a small kitchenette, 1 bedroom with a double bed (1.8 x 2m), a spacious bathroom with shower, WC and double washbasin, and a 20 sqm south-facing terrace with a fantastic view of the Watzmann, the adjacent mountain panorama and the Schönau valley basin.

Location and surroundings of object

Follow the A8 Munich - Salzburg motorway and leave it at the Bad Reichenhall exit shortly before the border with Austria (be careful - if you cross the border you will have to pay a toll sticker).
Follow the B20 to Berchtesgaden Bahnhof, drive into the roundabout and leave it in the direction of Königssee/ Jennerbahn (not Schönau a. Königssee!).
Continue along Königsseerstrasse for approx. 500m and then turn left into Vorderbrandstrasse (towards Faselsberg). Follow the Vorderbrandstraße uphill for approx. 1km - shortly after a settlement of houses on the left, the forest path branches off to the right into the forest. Follow the unpaved forest road for approx. 200m and you have reached your destination. Schönau am Königssee near Berchtesgaden
