We welcome you to 'de Stägass'! The 'Stägass' is Palatine and actually means 'Steinstrasse'. Behind this address are our 5-star holiday home for max. 5 pers. and our holiday flat for max. 2 pers. in the heart of Göcklingen.
New in our house from now on for all guests free wifi access via Freifunk - Sü
At the end of 2009 the renovation work on our former parents' house was completed. Renovated from the ground up, the former winegrower's estate now shines in new splendour and offers its holiday guests spacious and stylish accommodation of a high standard for active holidays on the Southern Wine Route.
The neighbouring 2-room flat for 2 people has also been freshly renovated and comfortably furnished.
By the way: in our romantic cottage garden, not only our rose bushes, sunflowers and hydrangeas feel at home. Under the kiwi pergola, surrounded by the scent of flowers and herbs, everyday life and hectic suddenly seem far away. Promise!
The German Wine Route, where the Palatinate is at its most beautiful, is worth a visit at any time of year. Enjoy and taste the excellent Palatinate wines, which grow to a very special maturity in our mild climate.

Holiday home and holiday apartment
Enter and feel good - that was very important to us when designing our holiday home. Up to five people can enjoy their holiday in the Southern Palatinate on approx. 120 sqm. The house has been renovated in keeping with its original style, fitted with high-quality parquet flooring and furnished with solid wood furniture. Some lovingly restored antiques are also mixed in. The holiday flat for 2 people has also been freshly renovated.
The bright hallway opens up to the beams and connects the lower and upper floors.
To the left is the spacious kitchen, which is well equipped:

-microwave and coffee maker
-crockery, cutlery and glasses
A special highlight is the Roman oven, which provides cosy warmth not only on cool days. In the lower chamber you can watch the flames play, in the upper two chambers you can even bake bread or braise a roast.
On the lower floor you will find two bedrooms. One with a double bed and another single bedroom. One of the two bathrooms is also on the ground floor. With daylight, a floor-deep shower, washbasin and WC, a cheerful start to the day is guaranteed.
Open living room
In the cosy sofa corner you can enjoy relaxing evenings watching TV or entertaining rounds with your loved ones. Through the skylights you can see the sun shining during the day and the stars twinkling at night.
Sleep like a prince: on the upper floor is the stylish, spacious bedroom with another double bed. An additional sofa provides relaxing moments while reading a book. From the window, the view wanders to the 'Stägass', the street that leads to the town hall square in Göcklingen. The Palatinate on the Southern Wine Route couldn't be closer!
End your perfect day in the bathtub in the spacious bathroom. Of course, the daylight bathroom also has a sink and a WC.
Göcklingen is surrounded by a sea of vineyards on the Southern Wine Route. It is an ideal starting point for extensive hiking or cycling tours in the Palatinate Forest or Alsace.
The German Wine Route is worth a visit at any time of year, whether for the almond blossom in spring, year-round wine festivals, grape harvest in autumn and much more.
