Description

On 220m² there are 2 single rooms with shower/WC, 4 double rooms with shower/WC, plus a self-catering kitchen and a communal or seminar room of 26m².
Under the same roof there is a small wheelchair-accessible holiday flat with 2x2 beds, a small kitchen/living room and bathroom.
Thus, events with up to 14 people can take place in the house.
Alternatively, weatherproof guests can pitch their own tent or sleep spartanly on mattresses in the mill (maximum 11 people).
There are toilets and showers in the mill.
The guest house is situated in a separate location together with the mill, a barn and a residential house on a 5000m2 site.
Playing, working, learning, celebrating and conferencing are just as possible as relaxing and reflecting. The (unheatable) rooms of the mill can be used for indoor activities.
The property is situated in a hilly forest and meadow landscape on the 36-metre-high edge of the Barnimer Platte: a good area for off-road games, rope activities and orienteering. Within sight is the Eberswalde Urstromtal (glacial valley) with the secluded Finow Canal, the Treidelweg (towpath) and the ship lift, where you can paddle, raft, cycle or skate.
The Niederfinow railway station is 600m away, and there is a direct hourly connection to Berlin.

The Hohenfinow watermill is located one hour by train or car north-east of Berlin near Eberswalde, 400m from Niederfinow railway station.
It is situated in hilly forest and meadow landscape on the 36 m high break-off edge of the Barnimer Platte: a good area for off-road games and orienteering. Within sight is the Eberswalde Urstromtal (glacial valley) with the secluded Finow Canal, the Treidelweg (towpath) and the Niederfinow boat lift, where you can paddle, raft, cycle or skate. The old Cistercian monastery of Chorin and the Brodowin eco-village are not far away. The mill is located in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, which is the habitat of many birds and rare animal species.

The village of Hohenfinow, situated on the B167 between Eberswalde and Bad Freienwalde, developed in the 13th century from a small late Slavic settlement.
Hohenfinow lies in an ice-age landscape on the Barnimer Platte. The newly created hiking trails in and around Hohenfinow take you to a particularly scenic spot, the "Liebenstein" lookout point, which was a vineyard in the 17th and 18th centuries. It offers a unique view of the Niederoderbruch.
