Description
This well-kept holiday home in Sehestedt is in a quiet residential area and has been extensively renovated. It is 90 m to the Kiel Canal (2nd row of streets): from both flats you have the canal view as shown in the photo.
The Baltic Sea resort of Eckernförde is nearby.

1. LOWER HOLIDAY APARTMENT; 3***stars; 73 sqm: max. 3 persons;
a) Very LARGE kitchen-living room with table for 9 persons; a French bed (with a room partition made of curtains), a double sofa bed, leather sofa, pellet stove. The kitchen is very well equipped. The 7m wide south-facing window is effectively shaded from the outside.
b) Bedroom with double bed (160 cm wide, electrically adjustable) and own TV
c) Bathroom with shower, barrier-free,
d) south-facing terrace, natural garden with lawn and shade tree, fenced off, sunny, quiet
The flat always has pleasant air thanks to automatic fresh air supply.
2. UPPER HOLIDAY FLAT (TOP FLOOR):
A friendly maisonette flat for max. 4 persons, 65 sqm. The clean and bright kitchen-living room has a south-facing balcony, with a view of the larger ships in the Kiel Canal (90 m away, as in the photo). Three cosy bedrooms have double beds; one of them is in the attic (good standing height there; the room-saving stairs leading up there have a safety door at the top, but the stairs are not safe for small children.
The bathroom has a bathtub, shower and washing machine. The private entrance to the flat is via the balcony. The flat always has pleasant air thanks to automatic fresh air supply.
The south-facing balcony and the windows are shaded.
WHOLE HOUSE:
Both flats can also be booked together, in which case a maximum occupancy of 8 people is possible. The large eat-in kitchen on the ground floor is amply equipped for family gatherings. The total living space is then 142 sqm.

HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE BASEMENT:
BATHROOM: Shower is floor-level, with grab rail and shower stool;
WC 54 cm high with folding supports on both sides; washbasin accessible by wheelchair - all with ample free space in front. All door widths over 100 cm; BEDROOM: bed height 55 cm, under-ride, slatted frames electrically adjustable, free space at the bed: 2.40 x 1.65 m; we are happy to rearrange the bed so that you can also get in from the other side; The bedroom has its own satellite TV with DVD player. The light switches are mounted low. A folding wheelchair and commode chair are available. LIVING KITCHEN: The French bed is 53 cm high and can be folded down, with a room divider made of curtains. The living room table has a large overhang.
We can adjust the leather couch to a seat height of 55 cm.
Our guests praise the pleasant temperature in the house.

Bed linen: The sheets are already made up. Feel free to bring your own duvet and pillow covers; or with pre-order (7,50 €/person).
No further costs! (Final cleaning, towels, tea towels, water and electricity consumption and heating are included; free of visitor's tax).
Cleaning surcharge per dog: one-time € 16. Please indicate the shoulder height of your dog.

Wonderful stay at the North - Baltic Sea Canal
We had a wonderful week here at the North - Baltic Sea Canal, in a holiday home in which we lacked nothing. Cosy and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable and hope that we will soon have the opportunity to repeat our stay.
