Great vacation
I originally booked two weeks with a dog, but unfortunately had to shorten the vacation by three days due to personal reasons. I felt very comfortable in the house, everything was as described. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is available to start relaxing right away. The location is absolutely great, short distances to the beach and to the town. I was there alone with my dog and we had a wonderful time. The landlord is extremely nice and accommodating. She is always reachable for concerns and responds promptly to questions. I would go there again at any time; it is centrally located but very quiet. In the morning, you are awakened by birdsong, and I have only occasionally heard a neighbor. The garden is completely securely fenced, and you can let a very anxious dog run there without worry. I will definitely try to spend a week or two here again next year.

Between window views and bail deductions: Unfortunately no recovery
Due to the many positive reviews, we booked with great anticipation – after the stay, we regret this:
1. Arbitrary deposit despite inclusive price
After departure, the landlord unilaterally withheld energy costs from the deposit. Additional costs were included in the price, extra costs besides dog + towels were not contractually agreed upon (§ 5 limits deposit use to damages). Meter readings were not presented transparently, further inquiries were ignored.
2. Privacy & Phantom Dachshund
The landlord appeared twice unannounced. Whoever does not open the door in a bathrobe is quickly scrutinized from outside through the window. The second time she even stood in front of us with a rental agreement – suspecting that we were keeping a second unregistered dog (we wouldn't cheat, would we?!) ) Instructions for closing the bathroom window, watering a plant (please from the rain barrel), taking out the trash bins (200 m) were crowned by trash inspections along with the surprising realization that there was indeed trash inside. One felt controlled & not on a vacation for which one had paid over €2200.
3. Condition
The garden unfortunately had nothing to do with the listing pictures: unkempt, patchy lawn, dried plants, weeds, and a lot of old leaves on/under the loungers or paths. The beds could not be used without self-renovation. A musty smell prevailed in the house (clothes were washed, we had to throw the dog bed in the trash). We also mentioned the smell (as a reason why the bathroom window was open), unfortunately without reaction. When showering, thick dust chunks fell from the fan onto the wet skin. In addition, some appliances like the stove and dishwasher cannot be operated simultaneously. Cleaning supplies are left out in the hallway. (Vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, etc.) )
Positive: The air conditioning. But we didn't use it in September – summer guests should think twice about using it due to possible deposit deductions. ? . We would definitely not book again.

Beste heer en mevrouw T,
Helaas kan ik mij in jullie negative resentie helemaal niet begrijpen.
Ik heb inderdaad 1 dag na aankomst bij jullie aan de deur geklopt om jullie te begroeten, dat doe ik bij al mijn huurders.
Na een paar keer kloppen heb ik door het keuken raam naar binnen gekeken, en daar stond mevrouw T in haar badjas.
Het was na elf uur, maar mevrouw T had natuurlijk ook vakantie, ze hoefde de deur niet open te doen.
Toen ze de deur open deed heb ik mij voorgesteld en gevraagd of ik later terug zal komen, maar dat hoefde niet.
Eigenlijk hebben we buiten gezellig met elkaar staan kletsen.
Ik heb haar gevraagd of ze de afvalcontainer voor mij aan de straat wilde zetten en mijn drie planten voor het huis bij droogte water wilde geven.
Dat wilde ze beide wel doen.
Dan moet je niet achteraf klagen dat je de container aan de straat moest zetten, want van moeten was geen spraken.
Uw man heb ik in de tuin aangetroffen, hij was vriendelijk en alles was in orde.
Geen woord gezegd dat hier en daar wat onkruid staat en op de schaduw plaatsen het gras een beetje langer was.
Ik heb mijn gras maaier meegenomen naar een ander huisje en later weer terug gebracht.
verder ben ik nog 1 keer geweest om te vragen of jullie toch 2 honden hebben.
Waarop uw man vriendelijk heeft verteld dat de teckel zo bang is en blaft voor 2
Verder door naar de lig stoelen, rondom het huis staan bomen dus ook blaatjes en die vallen in de tuin op de meubels en ook op de ligstoelen.
Die blaatjes had u er makkelijk met de hand ervan af kunnen halen en dan een stoelkussen erop kunnen leggen.
Op de site staat alle informatie ook over de afrekening van de energie, u heeft in die twee weken€10,- per week verbruikt,waar praten we dan over.
Sommige mensen geven de planten in de zomer water sproeien het gras en dan ziet het er zo uit als op de foto"s maar ik kan niet iedere dag naar het huis toe om de tuin te gaan doen dan heeft niemand vakantie als ik daar iedere keer rond loop.
Als er problemen zijn altijd direct melden in de vakantie ,achteraf klagen is altijd makkelijk als ik mij niet kan verweren.
Ik heb een melding gemaakt bij Ferienhausmiete.

Great vacation
We spent 2 weeks of summer vacation here with 3 children and a dog. The house is well equipped. The garden is fenced, and the covered terrace is great. There are good mattresses and a wonderful bathroom with a washing machine. In 5 minutes, you can walk to the small supermarket to get fresh rolls. You can take the beach bus for free, or you can walk about 20 minutes to the beach. Renesse, we will come back! ☀️

Relaxing vacation
We were here with 3 adults and 2 dogs for almost 14 days.
The house is cozy and lovingly furnished. We lacked nothing. The large bathroom with a walk-in shower was perfect.
All windows have electric blinds. Our dogs could run and play freely in the fenced garden. There are 3 seating areas, one of which is covered. Bicycles are available for daily bread runs. A heartfelt thank you to our landlord Hilda. She is always friendly and always available.

Feel-good house
We were there with dogs, three of us, as hopefully every year now: It is new, very well-kept, spotlessly clean, and comfortably furnished. Even the small details like everything necessary in the kitchen, appliances, comfortable mattresses, enough blankets, pillows, the snow-white towels, and the equally spotless bedding, the provided bread-fetching bicycle, make you relax immediately. Tea, coffee, spices, oil... cleaning supplies, shower gel? Everything new is already there... the vacation starts right away. The little house offers plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and wide beds, a cozy dining area, and a comfortable sofa corner. A dream bathroom with a rain shower, even a washing machine. 2 toilets! From every window, the view is green. Supermarkets, restaurants, and bars within walking distance and still QUIET! 8 minutes by bike to the beach and right in the greenery. A lovely garden with flowers, space for everyone, not overlooked and escape-proof for the little ones. A very, very warm and considerate Hilda even asked right upon our arrival if we had everything! Yes! Everything!! And the beach! The lively beach bar for the sundowner and 20 m further the huge nature reserve... quiet empty beaches, not far the seal banks are delightful. Zieriksee, Rotterdam nearby. It was beautiful and we look forward to next year. A hidden gem... yet the little house looks so plain from the outside!
