Bungalow at Cambser See: Beautiful bungalow, 3 minutes from Cambser See.
Wi-Fi. Vacation in nature – here it can be realized.
Schwerin can be reached by car in 20 minutes, Wismar and the Baltic Sea in about 45 minutes. Excursion options are plentiful nearby.
Shopping facilities such as grocery stores, baker, fishing supplies as well as pharmacy and doctor in the neighboring village of Leezen, about 5 minutes away by car.
Bed linen and towels are provided weekly. A rowing boat is included in the rental price.

Arrival and departure day each Saturday or by arrangement.

Zittow, a small village on Lake Cambs, 20 minutes from the centre of Schwerin.
It is a 3-minute walk to the lake. Relaxation is pre-programmed here.
Shopping facilities such as grocery stores, bakery, fishing accessories as well as pharmacy, doctor in the neighbouring village of Leezen can be reached by car in about 5 minutes.

Great accommodation in a dream location

The small bungalow impresses with its location - above the road with beautiful old trees, in a small village.
In front of the bungalow is a large well-maintained terrace, which we enjoyed using daily - of course for grilling as well.
The bungalow offers a room with a double bed, 1 table with 4 chairs, 1 armchair, then 1 separate open kitchen, 1 bathroom, which is separated from the kitchen by a folding door.
The bathroom is relatively spacious. The entire establishment is contemporary, simply white - simply beautiful and practical! The lake is reachable on foot in 5 minutes and is not overrun by tourism. There is a calm, relaxed atmosphere. In a small sandy cove, you can go swimming for both young and old. A well-maintained meadow invites you to sunbathe or have a picnic. A little further along is another cove, sheltered from the sun by willows - the dog beach, which our dog enjoyed daily. We walked along the Warnow in the nearby area and visited some lakes, through extensive meadows and forests - a dream, super beautiful!!
We especially want to highlight the hospitality of the Wichmanns, who went out of their way to ensure a lovely stay for us and our dog.

Super relaxed! Nice landlords.

We had a great recovery for 1 week.
It was nice that we could arrive according to our wishes (Tuesday to Tuesday). Mr. Wichmann always had an open ear for our concerns.
Thank you again.
Everything was available in the bungalow, even little things were taken into account.
On the terrace, one can linger for a long time; the garden is magical and greatly contributes to slowing down. The place Zittow is relatively small (it only takes a few minutes to reach the bathing area, the lake is idyllic) - far away from mass tourism and yet a good starting point for sightseeing tours. There was nothing to complain about. Everything was great! Time passed unfortunately too quickly. Thanks to the hosts. Dominik and Anke

Okay! But too expensive!

We have often vacationed in dachas! Given the higher price of this accommodation, we expected better furnishings. The photos are well done. The fact that the toilet is only separated from the kitchen by a thin folding door was not visible. Somehow, you always feel observed. The landlords live right next door. A week in discount garden chairs is already noticeable on the back.

Top accommodation

Anja and Ilja are super nice landlords. We felt very comfortable here with our dog Ludwig. The bungalow is very tidy and clean, everything is available to spend a nice vacation. The terrace and the garden are just great.

Vacation 2023

Well-located typical bungalow with a spacious terrace and boat. We spent a lot of time daily on the terrace. A few kilometers to various excursion possibilities. Pure nature and the Schweriner See almost on the doorstep, what more could you want?! Landlords pleasant and very helpful. Our improvement suggestion directly in the bungalow (mosquito and fly protection) was gratefully accepted by Ilja Wichmann. Maybe a mattress topper for the bed would have been pleasant for our tired and not quite so young bones. Otherwise, everything you need on vacation is available. Beautiful green, well-kept and hardly visible property. Thank you for that dear Wichmann's. K. Burger

Super relaxing!

"We were looking for peace and found it :) We have never had such a well-equipped accommodation before! The people in the village were all very nice. The location is great for excursions! The nearest well-stocked supermarket is Rewe behind the pier, about 10 minutes by car. They also have fresh produce. A car is recommended!"

Vacation for the soul

We have found a paradise here! The bungalow is idyllically situated in greenery with a very large, park-like garden. There is a beautiful bench where you can enjoy the peace. The huge, partially covered terrace is also great. In the bungalow itself, you have everything you need, even small things like band-aids were not missing. Schwerin and Wismar are quickly accessible. It is just a few minutes to the bathing area at the clean Cambser Lake. Mr. Wichmann and his sister are super nice and always there when you need them. Overall, we had a wonderful time here. Thank you very much!

Really a great accommodation.

A bungalow that truly has everything one needs, plus a beautiful large terrace, partially covered, so one can wonderfully sit outside even in the rain. The landlord Ilja and his sister Anja are very, very friendly and accommodating and make a great effort to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Excursions to Schwerin, Wismar, and Poel are also recommended; in short, a really nice week.

Beautiful accommodation

Here you can vacation!
A super-equipped accommodation that leaves almost no wishes unfulfilled. Cold rainy days can be bridged with the fireplace, and the beautiful large terrace with sun loungers and a big table invites you to linger during sunny hours. Our vacation week was unfortunately very changeable, so we were able to make good use of everything. Thank you dear Wichmann family for this lovely accommodation and for everything else. The tomatoes tasted delicious to us. ;)

Awesome bungalow with great amenities!

We were able to spend a lovely vacation in this very well-equipped bungalow. Nothing is missing here. We went out in the canoe that the landlord provided. The Cambser Lake is reachable in 3 minutes. A beautiful garden with sun loungers, a covered terrace, and a fire pit is also available. Schwerin is not far away, and there are many excursion options as well. We were very satisfied and can absolutely recommend the bungalow. Thank you very much to the Wichmann family!
