The holiday home has an entrance area with guest toilet, living area with satellite TV, comfortable couch and sofa bed and a wonderful view of our large garden, which you can reach directly via the furnished terrace (barbecue facilities, 2 sun loungers). A new modern kitchen with cooker and oven, dishwasher, fully automatic coffee machine and coffee maker awaits you. The cosy dining area is integrated into the kitchen. There is also a small utility room with a large fridge-freezer combination. On the first floor, which you reach via a spiral staircase, there is a small gallery with access to the bathroom with shower and bathtub. Also on the first floor you will find a spacious bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and sitting area. Separated from the bedroom by a door, you enter a small chamber with a single bed. For the bedroom an extra bed with cot is possible, a folding mattress for another child is available. The holiday home is modern and furnished to a high standard and was partially renovated in summer 2020. If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, you will find it here. Our holiday home is located on our property directly next to the main house we live in, in the municipality of Kolkwitz in the beautiful district of Papitz. Our village was first mentioned in 1346. The 37m high steeple of the Papitz church in the centre of the village is visible from afar. It was probably built in the 14th century. Today, about 500 villagers live here. Village life is lively, with various events taking place throughout the year (rooster plucking, Easter bonfire, carnival procession with traditional costumes, Zampern). For many years, our former castle has housed a nursing home for disabled people and those in need of care.

Our approx. 3000m² garden is an oasis of peace. It is constantly being expanded with flowerbeds, seating areas, etc.. Various fruit trees and berry bushes blossom at different times of the year and are full of fruit
Directly in our neighbourhood is a small farm with some animals. So sheep, cows, a few ducks and geese and chickens are kept quite naturally. Sometimes there are also fresh eggs from free-range chickens. You can't get more organic than that.
Up to 4 bicycles are available free of charge for our guests.

Pure tranquility f
Those who, like us, want to escape the city noise and enjoy real peace are in the right place here. The accommodation is clean and has everything a person needs, with or without a dog. A great large garden can be used. Very pleasant hosts invite you to come back. For us and our 2 Galgos, it was an all-around lovely vacation.

Great holiday accommodation
Unfortunately, we could only use the house for 2 nights. Everything needed is available in the house. Ideal for people who want to relax. Also highly recommended for those with dogs.

Holiday apartment Family Raab
Super friendly welcome and a beautifully furnished clean holiday apartment. Everything was thought of, whether towels, bed linen, dishwasher tablets and much much more. Just like at home. The property is very nice. It invites you to relax. Everything is available for fun and play for children and dogs as well. Just great.

It was very relaxing.
A beautiful, large plot of land, ideal for animal owners.

I live in the separate house on the property with my husband. I have 2 grown-up children and 2 grandchildren. We are especially happy to welcome guests with large or small dogs, as our Elly unfortunately recently went over the Rainbow Bridge. We look forward to welcoming our guests and are always available with help and advice. We have many tips for leisure time activities. For those who are interested, I offer handicraft courses.
