Around Mähring, numerous marked paths lead through the healthy and densely wooded low mountain landscape. Here, hikers and cyclists get their money's worth. In winter, cross-country skiing trails are available around Mähring.
Mähring, with its border crossing to the Czech Republic, is ideally situated for excursions to the neighbouring Egerland. The spa town of Mariánské Lázné ( Marienbad ) is about 20 km away. The capital Prague is also a worthwhile destination for a day trip.
In the German border region, the towns of Tirschenreuth, Waldsassen and Neualbenreuth with the Sybillenbad (spa) are worth a visit. Trips to the Waldnaab Valley, Fichtel Mountains and Bavarian Forest are also recommended.

Beautiful vacation apartment on the 1st floor to the left
Mrs. Hampl warmly welcomed us and showed us everything. We had arrived with our dog and had the apartment 3 on the first floor with a balcony. Everything you need is available. Sufficient for 2 people. The beds were made. Parking right in front of the house. Can only recommend.

It does not get any better than this
We were guests of Mrs. Hampl with our dog from 21.12 - 01.01.2023.
We were absolutely thrilled with the accommodation from the very first moment. Clean, cosy, lovingly furnished. Heart, what more could you want. Mrs Hampl is also a very kind hostess. The surroundings invite you to go for a walk. The border to the Czech Republic is also not far away. So, all in all perfect. Absolutely recommendable.

I can only say thank you, everything was uncomplicated and really a very nice stay. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area, even the short distance to e.g. Prague is perfect.
