Description
We extensively renovated our little house, built around 1850, so that a holiday home equipped with every comfort was created. The holiday home is a non-smoking property and is centrally heated.
Our eat-in kitchen features a small wood-burning stove for cozy hours and is fully equipped with technical appliances.
In keeping with the character of the house, there is still a tiled stove in the living room, which was used to heat the house in the past. The living area features a large sofa bed, SAT TV, hi-fi system, and a comfortable armchair for reading.
On the ground floor is the bathroom with toilet, double washbasin, and large shower. This includes a hairdryer, illuminated mirror, and complete linen equipment.
A special feature of the Upper Lusatian houses is their half-timbered construction with relatively low ceiling heights (approx. 2m). Upstairs there is the bedroom and a pirate room for our little guests, which can also be used by "big" pirates. We are happy to provide you with a baby bed and a high chair.
The garden with seating area, grill, sun lounger, and beach chair is located at the holiday house. There is a trampoline for the children.
You are welcome to store your own bicycles in a locked room. The parking space for your car is directly on the property. The holiday home, including the entire property, is available for your exclusive use and is completely fenced in.
It is about 500m to the bakery in our village, open from Monday to Saturday. The nearest inn is about 1 km away.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in the Hörnitz district. From there it is only a few minutes by car to the Zittau Mountains. From Bertsdorf railway station you can take the narrow-gauge railway to Oybin or Jonsdorf. There are very beautiful hiking tours here, e.g. to the monastery ruins on the Oybin mountain or to the nuns' rocks in Jonsdorf.
A bus leaves directly in front of our house in the direction of Waltersdorf or Zittau.
Popular cycling tours also take you around the lake or towards the three-country point D/CZ/PL or the Oder-Neisse cycle path.

A beautiful vacation
We had a very nice vacation in the house of the Wüstner family. Quietly located, everything you need is there. From there, everything is reachable in a short time. We have a few small suggestions. An outdoor light in the seating area would be nice, and maybe a microwave with baking function, since there is no oven for reheating rolls. But that can all be solved differently? ☺️. We would love to come back.

Very nice holiday home
Very nice landlords. We immediately felt at home. From here you can explore the surroundings very well, e.g. trips to Oybin, Jonsdorf and Görlitz.
