Start your day with a refreshing swim – the sea is just steps away, perfect for a morning dip with a towel over your shoulder. This single-storey, easy-care holiday home sits on a private 500 m² fenced plot, making it ideal for families with children or guests traveling with a dog. The small town of Guissény is a peaceful seaside resort, known for its wide bay with sandy beaches and rocky sections. The long-distance coastal path GR34 runs right past the house, inviting you to explore the coast in both directions and enjoy breathtaking views.

To the west of Guissény stands Île Vierge, home to the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe, which can be reached by boat from the port of Aber Wrac’h. Here you will also find a lively sailing port, specialty restaurants, and views of many small offshore islands. To the east lies the restored fishing village of Meneham, famous for its exhibitions and spectacular rocky coastline. In nearby Lesneven, a weekly Monday market offers fresh local specialties, while the port of Le Corejou in Plouguerneau hosts the traditional seaweed festival every last Sunday in August.

Madame Lemoine kindly greeted us and showed us everything. Since she only speaks French, we worked with a translation app. The house welcomed us with a musty smell. The cause was quickly found, mold in the bathroom. However, it is manageable with plenty of ventilation. The dishes were a bit dirty, so we washed them first. Except for the cutlery, the dishes for 6 people are insufficient. The floor was also not clean, so we mopped it first. In the toilet, brake marks were still visible. Actually, I like hard mattresses, but here they are so hard that we have back pain. The house is overall quite old and in need of renovation. However, the surroundings are really dreamy, especially the beach.

Nice house with all amenities. A beautiful sandy beach with rocks is a 5-minute walk away. The children loved climbing over it or swimming in the sea. Quiet area. Owner speaks only French.
