The calm waters here mean minimal swell, creating a peaceful base for water sports, cycling, and exploring nearby windmills. From here, it’s easy to take day trips to Amsterdam, Alkmaar, or the charming coastal towns along the North Sea.

We had a lovely stay here, The double bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a nice shower, The houseboat’s design is really functional, and we appreciated having air conditioning, The nearby cafes were a nice touch, too,
