Barrier-free holiday home:On the ground floor bedroom (double bed), adjoining room with single bed, large cosy living room with patio door and kitchenette, all three with view of the Schlei, bathroom (shower), utility room (washing machine, additional sink)
Bed linen, towels, bicycles, canoe, terrace, lawn, garden furniture, barbecue, private parking, all included. In the living room cupboard you will find books, CDs, brochures and event programmes of the near and far surroundings, as well as cycling and hiking maps.
Bread roll service possible.
The house is situated in a quiet side street leading to the Schlei. A few steps from the house starts a circular hiking trail of about one hour, which leads along the shore of the Schlei and past the popular Cafe Krog and the church from the through the village.
Distances Schleswig, Eckernförde, Kappeln: just under 20 km each, Flensburg 40 km, Kiel 50 km, North Sea 50 km In summer boat connections to Schleswig. Bus stop 200m away, railway station 10 km. We are happy to pick up guests arriving by train in Schleswig or Süderbrarup. (Hourly service from Hamburg, Kiel, Flensburg)

The interior of the house was completely renovated in winter 2013/2014. We now offer our guests even more comfort. The following contribute to the comfort and accessibility: the passage width of the doors of at least 86 cm, barrier-free shower, motorised slatted frame in the bedroom. Five of the living room windows go all the way to the floor, so lots of light comes in and the view of the Schlei is enchanting. A glass door leads to the rear terrace.
All rooms are accessible from the hallway: a bedroom (14 sqm) with double bed, a small room (8 sqm) with writing corner and single bed, the bathroom (4 sqm) with shower, toilet and washbasin, the living room (34 sqm) with kitchenette (4 plate ceramic hob with oven, sink, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment), dining and sitting area and cupboards and a utility room (7 sqm) with washing machine. The energy supply is supported by solar panels on the roof (photovoltaic and thermal).

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located on a small side street in the village at 24897 Ulsnis, Strandweg 9, a few steps from the village museum.
Coming from Schleswig, the best route is along the Schlei via Schleidörfer Straße through Füsing-Brodersby-Goltoft to Ulsnis.
About 300 m from the entrance of the village, follow the sign to the right for Ulsnis Strand. The fifth house on the right side, after the first right curve, is our holiday home with a sign and front garden, Strandweg 9.
Welcome! The municipality of Ulsnis is located on the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei, halfway between Schleswig and Kappeln, with 8 km between it and the two charming Schlei crossings: the Missunde ferry and the historic drawbridge, which is used by trains, cars, cyclists, and pedestrians. In Ulsnis, you can find one of the oldest churches in the landscape of Angeln with a significant parsonage and parsonage garden in a very beautiful location, a glassblower, a village museum, two small bathing beaches, a dog beach, and a network of beautiful cycling and hiking trails. You can relax well at any time of the year. In the summer and around Christmas, there are several concerts. The area is agriculturally characterized and appears harmonious with gentle elevations, hedgerows, and small farmers' forests. Here you can hike, bike and sail or fish, but also skate or surf. Not far away is the cultural city of Schleswig with its cathedral, harbor, old town, fishing district, and the state museums in Gottorf Castle, famous for its excellent painting exhibitions, but also for the bog bodies in the archaeological section; the Viking Museum Haithabu at the crossroads of medieval trade routes with treasures and boats as well as an area with reconstructed Viking residential buildings; a city museum, theater, concerts. Equally interesting and beautiful, and not far away, are Eckernförde, Flensburg, and Husum.
Wellness, beach, seawater wave pool, and an adventure pool can be found in Damp on the Baltic Sea, about 30 km away, and an adventure park for the whole family is located in Tolkschau, 8 km away.

We spent sunny days in a very lovingly furnished holiday home.
If the fast internet made it to Ulsnis, then the accommodation is unbeatable!
