The pictures on the site were very good ... in reality the house was a lot less. Nowhere is it mentioned that it is located in a bungalow park, the "beautiful garden furniture" consists of 2 uncomfortable plastic seats & a wooden bench & on arrival even the refrigerator was not on. Furthermore, we had to air the house for half a day to get rid of the musty smell. Also, there was actually only 1 bedroom worthy of the name, the other was a small room with a very small bed in it, for the rest nothing, completely bare. Finally; there is mold in the bathroom & the appliances in the kitchen are not very clean or calcified. This was absolutely not the stay we had in mind. Too bad, the area is beautiful. We will definitely come back to Heuvelland, but it will not be in this house again.

Charming chalet and friendly owners who give you tips on walks and restaurants in the area. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Hot tub in the garden is a must. Beautiful garden with bbq which we used every day. Sufficient bed and bath linen available. Quiet area with neighbors that you don't notice. Chalet is located on a road where 70 km/h can be driven, but there is little passage so you are hardly bothered by it. At a 100m there is access to a forest with marked walks. Pets allowed. Enjoyed a week of pure rest.

Veronique and Marc are very nice and have a lot of good recommendations ready. Whether shopping, restaurants, market or the wonderful patisserie in Chatillion and not to forget the beer, which is brewed in Orval by monks in a monastery. The facility is perfect. We didn't lack for anything. We felt very comfortable. The location is ideal, since you can also be in France and Luxembourg very quickly to explore other attractions and go on beautiful hikes. Cottage is great, especially if you go with 2 people like us, it is very spacious. You could sleep in it with 5 people. Pallet stove is cozy and we even sat in the hot tub (or 10 euros per day extra). Despite being on a road, it is very quiet, you hardly hear the cars. Kitchen is fully equipped, dishwasher, oven, Senseo, freezer, etc. Only drawback, we found that you need the car for everything, you can't walk from the house into a village or town.But definitely recommended!

The pellet stove that is present you have to refill every now and then, but otherwise you have no work on it, it provides enough heat to keep the house cozy! Please note, the double bed is not that big. It worked for us, but it might be nice for others to know. There are very nice walking routes in the area that are well signposted. So as a hiker you can certainly find what you are looking for! We will definitely come back! Next time in the jacuzzi season;)

Everything you need is available in the kitchen and bathroom, including cotton wool and ear sticks and plenty of towels. . You notice that the landlady wants the guests to have a good time. We had a friendly welcome and the landlady is easily accessible for questions. The cottage is located on a busier road, but you will not be bothered by this in the house itself. The bed was on the narrow side for us, but we are used to a bed of 1.80 m. At about 50m from the house you step into the forest and you can start various walks. Also in St-Léger and the surrounding area there are beautiful hiking opportunities and apparently a swimming pond where you can go in the summer. Bakery, butcher and small supermarket ( Spar) are not far away (few km).

Very nicely decorated house, squat clean and just about everything is there. From the breakfast table in the living room you have a view of the cozy garden and the forest behind it. Everything you need is available in the kitchen and bathroom, including cotton wool and ear sticks and plenty of towels. . You notice that the landlady wants the guests to have a good time. We had a friendly welcome and the landlady is easily accessible for questions. The cottage is located on a busier road, but you will not be bothered by this in the house itself. The bed was on the narrow side for us, but we are used to a bed of 1.80 m. At about 50m from the house you step into the forest and you can start various walks. Also in St-Léger and the surrounding area there are beautiful hiking opportunities and apparently a swimming pond where you can go in the summer. Bakery, butcher and small supermarket ( Spar) are not far away (few km).

A welcome, cozy cottage that is accessible but still located in the woods. Very nice environment, shops close by. A friendly lady who will explain the operation of the house upon arrival. The pellet stove that is present you have to refill every now and then, but otherwise you have no work on it, it provides enough heat to keep the house cozy! Please note, the double bed is not that big. It worked for us, but it might be nice for others to know. There are very nice walking routes in the area that are well signposted. So as a hiker you can certainly find what you are looking for! We will definitely come back! Next time in the jacuzzi season;)

The cottage is beautiful. Everything you need and more. Very clean. Bath and bed linen are in abundance. The jacuzzi is very clean and the garden is very cared for. The owners are very friendly. Cottage is great, especially if you go with 2 people like us, it is very spacious. You could sleep in it with 5 people. Pallet stove is cozy and we even sat in the hot tub (or 10 euros per day extra). Despite being on a road, it is very quiet, you hardly hear the cars. Kitchen is fully equipped, dishwasher, oven, Senseo, freezer, etc. Only drawback, we found that you need the car for everything, you can't walk from the house into a village or town.But definitely recommended!

We have never stayed in such a beautiful holiday home. Decorated with great attention to detail. The landlords have the perfect sense of color. But not only that. Veronique and Marc are very nice and have a lot of good recommendations ready. Whether shopping, restaurants, market or the wonderful patisserie in Chatillion and not to forget the beer, which is brewed in Orval by monks in a monastery. The facility is perfect. Charming chalet and friendly owners who give you tips on walks and restaurants in the area. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Hot tub in the garden is a must. Beautiful garden with bbq which we used every day. Sufficient bed and bath linen available. Quiet area with neighbors that you don't notice. Chalet is located on a road where 70 km/h can be driven, but there is little passage so you are hardly bothered by it. At a 100m there is access to a forest with marked walks. Pets allowed. Enjoyed a week of pure rest.
