Wir haben uns super erholt in der gut ausgestatteten Kate am See, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Klasse Lage auf riesigem Grundstück, kleiner Spaziergang bis zum Restaurant/Café Roter Haubarg, Einkaufen im nahen Husum. Guter Standort zur Erkundung von Eiderstedt. Ein Wunsch: Fliegengitter an einigen Fenster wären echt toll.

In der Stille dem Blätterrauschen der Pappeln zu lauschen und dem Gänsegeschnatter zu zustimmen ist pure Landidylle. Ein Refugium für Grossstädter.

Gute Reinigung des Staubsauger sodass er optimal Funktioniert und nicht warm läuft wärend der Arbeit! Topflappen wären auch ganz nützlich.

Der Staubsauger saugte nur 1/2 bis zur erhitzung. Bitte Reinigung des Armes! Bei Luftung der Wohnung, sass es direkt voller Fliegen! 3 Fliegenfänger waren anwesend also kannte man das Problem.

We have been to "Kate am See" several times, where we always felt very comfortable. This time was no exception! We really like the house, it is very well equipped and very cozy. The location is hard to beat, and our dogs feel very comfortable in the fenced garden area. That's why we have already booked again for next year and are looking forward to our next vacation in Uelvesbüll. The team at "Urlaub an der Nordsee" did a great job again! The contact was, as always, extremely friendly and accommodating!

With 2 of my 5 dogs, I was a guest in this wonderfully located holiday home for 10 days. We felt very comfortable. Great secluded location with a large fenced garden. The beach chair did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, there is no sun protection on the terrace. The house was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was small but fine and always cuddly warm. The kitchen equipment was not so great but sufficient. I would love to come back.

The cottage was just right for us. I love it when there isn't much around. The house is beautiful and tastefully furnished. The garden is perfect for children and dogs, well fenced-off towards the lake. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to come back sometime.

We once again spent wonderful 2 weeks in this beautiful house with an even more beautiful location. This "location" (new German...) offers everything we need for our vacation. The house is perfectly equipped, offers good beds (not to be underestimated at our age...), coziness, etc. The dogs have a sufficiently large, fenced-in area to run around - perfect! That's why we have already booked again for next year and are looking forward to it. The support from the team at "Vacation at the North Sea" is also perfect - exemplary and thank you very much for that! Keep it up ...

We were there with 4 adults. Everything needed was available! The only drawback, and this is nitpicking at a high level, is that the coat rack in the hallway has too few hooks for 4 people at this time of year! Also, the hooks in the bathroom are definitely too few, they are maximum enough for 2 guests! In the upper bedroom, a larger shelf for clothing would be appropriate! But as I said... nitpicking at a high level! It is beautiful and we will gladly come back next year!! :)

A beautiful house with partially fenced garden - great for our dogs, which we could easily let out. Everything on the ground floor for 2 people, so that neither we nor, above all, our dogs had to use the rather steep stairs to the other bedrooms under the roof. Loving and tasteful furnishings - everything was great. Suggestion: Insect screens in the lower bedroom (many flies and mosquitoes!) would be nice!

this is exactly the right place for you. We - a married couple (between 40 - 50 years old) with a dog - spent two very relaxing weeks in April in this great Frisian cottage. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and the interior is pleasantly individual. The open living-dining area on the ground floor is flooded with light and has a wonderful view of the garden and the small lake. The cottage is in a very quiet location in a small settlement. All around nature and space. The right place to take a deep breath and relax. Equally suitable for families with children. We would come here again at any time. We absolutely enjoyed our week at the Kate. The pictures don't promise too much, it was even nicer on site than expected. Arrival/key collection worked perfectly, the house was super clean, we were welcomed with 2 small bottles of champagne on the dining table. Absolutely adorably furnished, with the quiet location by the lake and the large property all around, it is the perfect retreat on rainy days or just to enjoy. We spent a lot of time here as a family (4 children 14,12,10,7 yrs and dog), the room layout was perfect for us and the garden with play facilities absolutely suitable. Approx. 15 min to Husum, Friedrichstadt or Tönning, approx. 30-35 min to St. Peter-Ording or to the lighthouse Westerhever are optimal distances for excursions of all kinds. To be recommended again at any time. Many thanks to the Volquardsen family for a great time!

It was perfect for our 4-day holiday just before Christmas. The tasteful furnishings, the wood-burning stove and the wonderful tranquillity immediately slowed us down. Even our dogs are now relaxed for the holidays. We will be happy to come back!

From the very first moment we felt at home. The cottage is beautifully and quietly situated and far exceeded all our expectations. The tastefully furnished house and the gorgeous garden made our stay unforgettable. Uelvesbüll is a quiet little village and a perfect starting point for excursions all over North Friesland. It was fun to stay in the cottage. A few lamps need to be replaced and a dryer is missing. In November, the sauna has problems generating enough heat even in the foot area. But that is complaining on a high level. Apart from that we were TOP satisfied....we will always come back.... Best regards Holger and Andrea

The house is very nice, with good beds and cots/highchairs are provided if needed. We would love to come back, only the kitchen could be a bit more fully equipped for the fact that there are three bedrooms, e.g. larger lasagne dish, cutting boards.

Fantastic location, tastefully furnished, there is the following need for improvement: Mown lawn on arrival would have been nice! The lawn was supposed to be mowed on the last evening before our departure - it was not suitable! The garden furniture is very outdated - it should definitely be replaced. Kitchen equipment could be optimised, e.g. potholders should be included in the standard! Cent articles such as dishwashing light, sufficient toilet paper etc. should be a matter of course with very good service!

The Kate am See is located in a rather quiet area in Uelvesbüll. We spent two weeks there on holiday with our three boys and we liked it very much. The house has been restored in a modern way and a lot of attention was paid to preserving the old charm. The children could play in the garden and fish at the lake. We made smaller trips by bike. Unfortunately, the trampoline was broken, but we still had a lot of fun and would certainly like to come back again.

We spent two wonderful weeks in a really super holiday home. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. But you can also quickly reach many sights in the vicinity or you can also make nice day trips from here. The house is very cosy and we felt comfortable from the very beginning. Even if the weather is not so good, there is enough space in the house. We were 3 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs and had enough space. The holiday home is really recommendable.

Wonderful location,very nice and tasteful furnishings!!!! We (2 persons, 2 dogs) especially liked the escape-proof fence Ideally, there would have been 2 sunbeds in the garden and a microwave in the kitchen. We can definitely recommend this wonderful cottage.

It was a wonderful week's holiday in a lovingly furnished charming cottage in an idyllic location. Any problems were solved immediately and without complications. We had a very good rest here!

We could not switch on the extractor bonnet in the kitchen. Possibly defective? When the house was closed and we returned in the evening after a day out, it smelled very musty. Shower and bedroom right next door most. There was some mould in the bathroom. Otherwise we always had the door and window open when we were there.

The cottage is very cosy and beautifully furnished and the location by the small lake is very idyllic. Our border terrier dog also felt very comfortable there. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified. We also give full marks for the cleanliness of the cottage. The only thing we should mention is that the ceiling height is relatively low, so tall people might have problems. We also missed a teapot or couldn't find one. Otherwise everything was fine. We will be very happy to come back. Many thanks to the owner and her team, who had an open ear for all wishes and concerns and responded promptly.

We had a great rest in the well-equipped cottage by the lake, we didn't want for anything. Great location on a huge property, short walk to the restaurant/café Roter Haubarg, shopping in nearby Husum. Good location for exploring Eiderstedt.
One wish: fly screens on some windows would be really great.

We enjoyed our time in the Kate am See very much. The house has a very nice and quiet location, is comfortably furnished and we found everything clean. The surrounding area is easy to explore by bike. In Witzwort, only 4 km away, you can shop very well at the Markt-Treff (fresh bread rolls!) and at the Meierei shop for your daily needs. In Oldeswort there is a very good country butcher.
