The house is very nicely furnished and equipped with everything one needs. Especially great with a dog is the entrance hall!

I found the contactless handover with the key in the safe to be great, so you don't have to worry if you arrive late. I also liked the proximity to the dyke, as you can easily walk there in a short time. The house has all the amenities you need and was also clean and modernly furnished. What I didn't like so much was the poor TV reception (living room TV), as the message "no signal" kept appearing in between (satellite reception). That's not so great when you watch a movie and then miss the ending (if the movie isn't available in the media library). It was good that there was Netflix, so there was enough selection to watch something. I also didn't like that the 30cm deep hole in the lawn for the clothesline had no cover. If the dog (or even a toddler) steps into it, there is a risk of injury, and that shouldn't be the case. The booklet states that there is a white plastic cover, but it was nowhere to be found. I then temporarily placed something on it. That should be fixed. The garden gate closes very unreliably and should be rust-proofed, oiled, or replaced. Luckily, my dog was on a leash in the garden, as the fence is too low for a Podenco. And the blinds in the bedroom do not close completely (there are gaps left open that let light through). During my vacation in September, there was quite a bit of excessive garden maintenance going on all around; somewhere, grass was always being mowed, bushes trimmed, or leaves blown, which disturbed the peace a bit. Maybe it's just like that during the change of seasons.

Very beautiful house in a quiet location. The conservatory is particularly noteworthy. We spent most of our time there when we were "at home." Nordstrand is also ideally located for trips to the Halligen and the North Sea islands. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the harbor. It may be complaining at a high level: but I would recommend the landlords provide a more extensive supply of bath towels. It would also not hurt if a bed linen and towel service were included in a 14-day stay at the midpoint.

The house was great, very clean and tastefully furnished. The conservatory was wonderful. We missed fly screens. Box spring beds would be good or at least higher mattresses. The peace in Nordstrand was great. The bike paths were wonderful to ride on. Paved no matter where you went. We will definitely come back. Best regards.

Very beautiful holiday home, modern and very nicely furnished. A bit too surrounded by other houses, which limits the view of the dike and fields. Perfect for the dog as it is well fenced.

We liked the cleanliness and the good furnishings. From good cutlery and also a rich supply in the kitchen, which is important for self-caterers, to induction and freezer, everything is top-notch. The accommodation could be improved with fly screens, at least in the bedroom and/or bathroom. For the entrance, an improvement could also be proposed with the neighbors, as depending on the size of the car, it is very difficult to get out when both entrances are occupied by cars. The metal rod prevents a tight turn.

The holiday home Gorch Fock was very much to our liking, everything was perfect. There were 2 technical problems that should be resolved at the next available opportunity: - The lamp in the hallway on the 1st floor does not work; it is not the light bulbs, it has a fundamental electrical problem. - With the television in the living room, we were unable to receive the classic channels like ARD, ZDF, and regional channels, etc. A repeated channel search also yielded no results. In the winter garden, all programs were available, but it is too cold there for watching television due to the season. These two problems did not really bother us, but they should be addressed.
