We celebrated a weekend there for our wedding and had a great time. The accommodation offers plenty of space and is well-equipped. In hot temperatures, you can cool off in the Eider; otherwise, there is a great barrel sauna. Our guests also really enjoyed it. It was only noticeable that some things, such as windows or curtain rods, need repairs. And unfortunately, the drain of the interior ladies' restroom smells very unpleasant, and that was already the case during our first viewing in February.

Unique house for larger groups with many opportunities for meeting as well as retreat spaces. Kitchens and bathrooms leave nothing to be desired. Swimming and canoeing right in front of the house, sauna and fireplace for cool days, and fire bowl under the starry sky, enjoying a barbecue together and, due to the huge terrace, with all 30 people together - mega! We will come back.

Perfect location! The house was celebrated by all guests! It is so lovingly and interestingly furnished, one simply has to feel good. We only used the kitchen "cold." In the evening, a food truck came. There was plenty of cutlery available, and there are many kitchen utensils. No wishes were left unfulfilled. The many outdoor seating options allowed us to spend a wonderful day outside behind the house with 70 people in perfect summer weather. A highlight was the Hohner ferry, which I was able to hire and on which the guests could enjoy the Eider from the water in three tours. The fire bowl in the evening was also perfect for the atmosphere. An idyllic place in the middle of nature. The booking went smoothly and phone inquiries or requests were always answered kindly. I am thrilled!! Highly recommended!

We and our guests really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Everything was very tidy and nice. The only thing that was not clear from the description was that the seminar room can be booked separately. This could have been mentioned in the listing along with the price for the sauna. Otherwise, we gladly recommend this accommodation!

A family reunion during Corona times? Yes, this is possible here. The really beautifully furnished lodge offers so much space that even with full occupancy we would never have been too close together. Unfortunately, since our seniors and some family members canceled, we were only 15 people, including 2 small children. We could change the terrace depending on the position of the sun to have shade. Chairs, beach chairs, and comfortable wicker chairs are plentiful. The direct access to the Eider and the 2 SUP boards belonging to the house allowed us to enjoy temperatures over 30 degrees. The kitchens, especially the large, beautiful kitchen, made the grill preparations a family event. In front of the entrances and in all communal areas, there was hand sanitizer, which even our youngest used without hesitation. Additionally, we agreed within the family to wear mouth-nose protection in the house, even at high temperatures, which is perfectly fine. The beds are very comfortable, the hygiene rooms are all modern and clean, and the communal washrooms are very well equipped. Nothing is missing in the kitchens. Even though the journey from the Rhineland is very long for just a weekend, other family members live just around the corner, we will definitely come back, also for longer and maybe even in winter, because the fireplaces will make the lodge very cozy then. Absolutely recommended.

We celebrated my daughter's wedding here, and everyone was thrilled with the lodge. The location by the Eider is simply a dream. The furnishings and the ambiance are great, although some things are more beautiful than practical, like the sinks. We had breakfast included, and it was different every day, very delicious and plentiful. If each room had at least one key and the service had been a bit less grumpy at times, then the celebration venue Lodge would have been unbeatable.

We give 5 stars for the patient advice from the North Sea team! The house is original, spacious, and well-equipped. For older people, the paths between the main kitchen and terrace are long, and the "luxury bedroom" must be crossed. One should know that. For the management: The "key with the stone" on the board did not fit the shed! So we couldn't access the sun umbrellas and returned home slightly sunburned but still very satisfied. In short: The lodge is recommended!

We celebrated our family reunion. It is a wonderful house, very large and spacious, simply ideal. We lacked nothing. Both young and old felt very comfortable. The younger generation mostly stayed in "their" territory. The airplane seats invited watching football, and for the very little ones, it was a cinema. The house is equipped with beautiful old equipment. The highlight is the airplane in the large hall. The large common room with an adjoining kitchen and the surrounding terraces was simply enjoyable. Very quiet location, right by the Eider. The bread service Morgengold was great, the rolls were very tasty. The team from Ferien an der Nordsee is very friendly, helpful, dedicated - simply excellent. We were very pleasantly surprised. Everything worked wonderfully. I can highly recommend the house, the bread service, and the team from Ferien an der Nordsee. Thank you very much for the relaxed and soothing time in/at Friedrichsgraben.

The house is simply great. The direct location by the Eider is wonderfully beautiful. The house is well laid out, modern, and simultaneously cozy. On each side of the house, there is a sun terrace, so you can sit protected in the sun at any time of the day. We were there with a larger group, and everyone felt absolutely great. The amenities are very extensive and left no wishes unfulfilled. The two sauna barrels were the icing on the cake. The surroundings are also beautiful and very quiet. The recommended bread roll service was great and super nice. The contact with each individual employee was also wonderful; emails were answered very quickly and kindly, and there was always a friendly voice on the phone that could help immediately. All in all, a beautiful spot on earth and great contact. We will definitely come back next year!

We felt very comfortable as guests in your house. For this reason, we will be renting again directly next year. Everything was there; nothing was missing. Despite the size, it was very clean and tidy. There are actually only minor complaints. For example, the kitchen faucet was very loose, and the vacuum cleaner did not have the desired performance. Since we had a dog with us, who naturally shed hair, we vacuumed every day. However, it was a difficult and lengthy process. And the radiators didn't work everywhere. They should be bled :) But as I said, those are just minor details. It was a really beautiful weekend, and we are already looking forward to next year.

Hello dear team, it was wonderful with you. We had a lot of fun. The weather cooperated as well. Everyone was excited. The only issue was that the drainage in the showers didn't work well. In the showers on the ground floor (access from the hallway), the water drained very poorly, causing water to flow back through the door into the hallway. However, we managed and dried it up again. This is just a suggestion or preparation for the upcoming bookings. In conclusion, it was a really nice weekend. We definitely recommend the accommodation. Unfortunately, it's a shame that you can't book single nights anymore. Two years ago, we stayed here for one night during our bike tour for the first time. This time, we celebrated with the family on a weekend. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for this - refrigerator, freezer, drinks fridge, dishes - everything you need to celebrate with a lot of people in a relaxed way. Hiking, swimming, paddling, dancing until two in the morning. Everyone felt like they were on a short vacation. A thank you to the support provided by Ms. Bartsch and her colleague for the helpful tips for the preparation.

We had a wonderful weekend in this great house!! Nothing was missing. The very well-equipped kitchen and dining room were ideal for our group of 28 people. The outdoor area and the location right on the Eider River were fantastic. There is even a fire pit. Also worth mentioning is the great guest service. We received helpful tips in advance (baker, beverage supplier, etc.). I can highly recommend the Lodge by the Eider.

We rented the entire house for my birthday party and had a great weekend at the Lodge an der Eider. The house and the surrounding area are high quality and furnished with many nostalgic ideas. There is plenty of space and everything was very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, so a group of several people can easily self-cater there...we had a great time and all my guests felt very comfortable there. I would rent the house again at any time.

For large groups in a family environment, the house (former agricultural operation) is great. Bright, friendly furnishings, top equipment, large kitchen with all the necessary utensils, including 2 gas stoves and 2 outdoor grills. The bedrooms/beds are very modern with great beds! Overall, we felt very comfortable and will book again. Recommended: Summer, so that the advantages of water sports on/in the Eider can be better utilized. The reception and instructions by the nice lodge team were perfect and very friendly. Someone was always available if needed. Prior to arrival, we received many tips on recreational activities, dining options, and beverage service. All guests felt very comfortable, and we were able to make good use of the outdoor area, including the fire pit. The ideal destination for a large celebration with friends and family. Plenty of space for all kinds of outdoor games, paddling on the Eider river, swimming, and great bike rides. We mostly catered for ourselves, taking advantage of the professional kitchen. But the breakfast buffet prepared by the lodge team was also great. Overall, we can highly recommend the lodge by the Eider – we would come back. A small downside: One of the SUPs is losing air, and the kayak also needs maintenance.

From the booking to the departure date, everything was perfect. Super friendly service, great, rustic location with a decor that reflects attention to detail. Everything was clean and well-equipped, very good beds. The surrounding area is perfect for games, campfires, walks in nature, etc. The accommodation is highly recommended for a family or friends' gathering, or even a company event. It's a shame that many weekends for the entire house are already booked for next year because we will definitely come back. Improvement suggestion for the facilities: In the shared bathrooms, the toilet doors could be renewed so that they have fully lockable doors "without gaps" in the future.

The large garden was a paradise for children and to enjoy the sun. The furnishings are individual with great design ideas. However, the sinks are a bit impractical for small people. We missed a few more hooks in the bedrooms for jackets and towels. The breakfast we booked was different every day and special requests like time and quantity were taken into account. We stayed in Friedrichgraben with a larger group (about 25 people) and really enjoyed the stay and the surroundings. The house is absolutely luxuriously equipped and everything is provided, so you only have to bring your own food (kitchen utensils, barbecues, stand up paddles, indoor and outdoor furniture, very comfortable beds, basic cleaning utensils, etc). The outdoor area is very spacious, so you can have a great time, especially in good weather.

We used the house for an offsite meeting with 12 people. The quietness was ideal for working well and developing ideas. The team felt very comfortable. However, due to the size of the living room, it was impossible to get it warm even though the fireplace was burning all day. But the smaller units and kitchen/dining room were very cosy.
