Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der schönen Lodge an der Eider. Die Lodge ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bietet sehr viel Platz. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful weekend in this great house!! Nothing was missing. The very well-equipped kitchen and dining room were ideal for our group of 28 people. The outdoor area and the location right on the Eider River were fantastic. There is even a fire pit. Also worth mentioning is the great guest service. We received helpful tips in advance (baker, beverage supplier, etc.). I can highly recommend the Lodge by the Eider.

We had a family gathering with 29 people in the lodge in the best weather. We were very kindly welcomed and instructed by Mrs. Koch. She was always approachable and happy to help us. Thanks again for that! I already knew the accommodation and the rest of the family was just as excited as I was. We would love to come back!

We rented the entire house for my birthday party and had a great weekend at the Lodge an der Eider. The house and the surrounding area are high quality and furnished with many nostalgic ideas. There is plenty of space and everything was very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, so a group of several people can easily self-cater there...we had a great time and all my guests felt very comfortable there. I would rent the house again at any time.

For large groups in a family environment, the house (former agricultural operation) is great. Bright, friendly furnishings, top equipment, large kitchen with all the necessary utensils, including 2 gas stoves and 2 outdoor grills. The bedrooms/beds are very modern with great beds! Overall, we felt very comfortable and will book again. Recommended: Summer, so that the advantages of water sports on/in the Eider can be better utilized. Very nice administrators who were always available and helpful for us, even with small questions and technology. Thank you!

It takes some time to find your way around the lodge. So many doors, corridors, and side entrances. But there really is nothing missing, if it weren't for the coffee filter that ends up in the trash too quickly and needs to be replaced. Or the gas stove, which doesn't seem to turn on or off at first glance. However, we all felt very comfortable, which may be due in no small part to the friendly housekeeping staff, for whom no distance was too far.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews of our predecessors. We rarely stayed in such an individually and originally furnished accommodation. The reception and instructions by the nice lodge team were perfect and very friendly. Someone was always available if needed. Prior to arrival, we received many tips on recreational activities, dining options, and beverage service. All guests felt very comfortable, and we were able to make good use of the outdoor area, including the fire pit. The ideal destination for a large celebration with friends and family. Plenty of space for all kinds of outdoor games, paddling on the Eider river, swimming, and great bike rides. We mostly catered for ourselves, taking advantage of the professional kitchen. But the breakfast buffet prepared by the lodge team was also great. Overall, we can highly recommend the lodge by the Eider – we would come back. A small downside: One of the SUPs is losing air, and the kayak also needs maintenance.

We were able to invite our entire family to the lodge at the Eider. Everyone was enthusiastic about the furnishings of the rooms, the loving design of the common areas, the various terraces, the location on the Eider, and so on. Luckily, we also had good weather, so we could all enjoy the amenities. It was all around beautiful!

From the booking to the departure date, everything was perfect. Super friendly service, great, rustic location with a decor that reflects attention to detail. Everything was clean and well-equipped, very good beds. The surrounding area is perfect for games, campfires, walks in nature, etc. The accommodation is highly recommended for a family or friends' gathering, or even a company event. It's a shame that many weekends for the entire house are already booked for next year because we will definitely come back. Improvement suggestion for the facilities: In the shared bathrooms, the toilet doors could be renewed so that they have fully lockable doors "without gaps" in the future.

The house has a beautiful location, with several wonderful seating areas around the house. We really enjoyed the opportunity to swim in the Eider river right by the house! The kitchen was a bit lacking in equipment, but hopefully that will be fixed after we shared our tips with the management. There was plenty of good quality dishes, glasses, and cutlery available! The local management of the house was extremely friendly and helpful! We all felt very comfortable at this place!

We had wonderful team days in these special premises. Everyone was impressed by the special atmosphere of the house. Each room had something special. The beds were nice and big, we slept like kings. It was especially nice in the evening sun on the terrace by the water. We cooked together, unfortunately we lacked a few things, like a mixer and blender. But otherwise we were completely satisfied.

The accommodation is a dream, captivates with its individual furnishings and the charm of the new - everything is fresh, clean, sophisticated and yet radiates a cosy charm. The communication with the team as well as the contact person on site was impeccable, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time there and would recommend this place to anyone looking for an undiscovered paradise. We celebrated my daughter's wedding here and everyone was thrilled with the lodge. The location on the Eider is simply a dream. The furnishings and the ambience are also great, even if some things are more beautiful than practical, such as the dishwashing troughs. We had booked breakfast and it was different every day, very tasty and sumptuous. If only every room had at least one key and the service had been a little less grumpy at times, the Lodge would have been an unbeatable party location

The accommodation was ideal for our big family reunion. Everyone had their own room to retreat to. The kitchen and dining room was ideal for communal meals. The large garden was a paradise for children and to enjoy the sun. The furnishings are individual with great design ideas. However, the sinks are a bit impractical for small people. We missed a few more hooks in the bedrooms for jackets and towels. The breakfast we booked was different every day and special requests like time and quantity were taken into account. We would like to come back again.

We stayed in Friedrichgraben with a larger group (about 25 people) and really enjoyed the stay and the surroundings. The house is absolutely luxuriously equipped and everything is provided, so you only have to bring your own food (kitchen utensils, barbecues, stand up paddles, indoor and outdoor furniture, very comfortable beds, basic cleaning utensils, etc). The outdoor area is very spacious, so you can have a great time, especially in good weather.

A family reunion in Corona times? Yes, that is possible here. The really beautifully furnished lodge offers so much space that even with full occupancy we would never have had too little distance. Unfortunately, our seniors and some family members had to cancel, so we were only 15 people, including 2 small children. We were able to change the terrace depending on the position of the sun in order to have shade. There are plenty of chairs, beach chairs and comfortable wicker chairs. The direct access to the Eider and the 2 SUP boards belonging to the house even let us enjoy the temperatures above 30 degrees. The kitchens, especially the large, beautiful kitchen, made barbecue preparations a family event. There was hand sanitizer in front of the entrances and in all common rooms, which even our little ones used as a matter of course. In addition, we agreed within the family to always wear mouth and nose protection in the house, which was perfectly OK even in the high temperatures. The beds are very comfortable, the hygiene rooms are all modern and clean, the communal washrooms are very well equipped. The kitchens lack nothing. Even though the journey from the Rhineland is very long for just one weekend, other family members live just around the corner, we will definitely come back, even for longer and maybe even in winter, because the fireplaces will definitely make the lodge recbt secret then. Absolutely recommendable.

The house has a beautiful location, with several wonderful seating areas around the house. We really enjoyed the possibility to take a bath in the Eider directly at the house!
The kitchen was a little lacking in equipment, but perhaps this will be remedied after our tips to the management.
There was plenty of good quality crockery, glasses and cutlery!
The on-site management of the house was extremely friendly and helpful!
We all felt very comfortable in this place!

We used the house for an offsite meeting with 12 people. The quietness was ideal for working well and developing ideas. The team felt very comfortable. However, due to the size of the living room, it was impossible to get it warm even though the fireplace was burning all day. But the smaller units and kitchen/dining room were very cosy.

Suggestion for improvement: The toilet doors in the shared bathrooms could be renewed so that they have fully lockable doors in the future "without free space".
