You are staying in a 60 sqm, child-friendly holiday apartment in a quiet location on the outskirts of the health resort.
It has one bedroom and a living/bedroom with kitchenette. The rooms are pleasantly cool, especially during hot summers.

Rest and enjoy.
We looked at this apartment on the internet. We would like to rent. What is the location of the apartment like, how is it in the apartment? What are the landlords like?
We were here, extending our stay from Wednesday the 5th to the 7th.
The apartment is as it looks in the pictures. Cozy, clean. Living kitchen, bedroom, terrace with a view, toilet, everything together in this well-maintained old house, where it is nice and quiet. The landlords are nice and friendly. One can hike well here, to the Edersee, or swim in Frankenberg (it was warm weather for several days). The playground nearby is nice by the river. Here you can play table tennis. Because we liked it so much, we are happy to come back!

Quietest, location great for hiking & adventures
A beautiful location, set in dramatic countryside, an hikers dream, also well positioned for sight seeing, do your research before you arrive, the only downside in my opinion is the nearest town for supplies is a good 15 minute drive, the hosts are excellent and very helpful, we throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it

A wonderful vacation apartment in a great location
For the second (and certainly not last) time, we, along with our four-legged friend, have been guests of the warm Ziegler family in their lovingly furnished and designed holiday apartment. This holiday apartment is a true dream holiday apartment for us, as everything fits perfectly: clean, spacious, super equipped - just walk in and feel at home. The wonderful quiet location right at the edge of the forest amidst an idyllic landscape rounds it all off. A highlight is of course the large and covered terrace, which really invites you to relax comfortably in almost any weather. Our four-legged friend was delighted with the large meadow just a few hundred meters away, where he could play to his heart's content with his ball. Thanks in no small part to the Ziegler family, it was simply a few wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing vacation days.

Perfect vacation for any duration
We spontaneously looked for a suitable accommodation with our two children (2 and 5 years old).
We were very surprised; the place is a picturesque little village where everyone still knows each other. 15 minutes earlier, we quickly visited an Aldi store and got all the necessary things; about 8 minutes away is a Nahkauf.
The apartment has a great personal flair. We lacked nothing. I recognized dishwasher tabs and coffee powder and filters from the pictures and packed them from home. The place is suitable for many activities. We visited Winterberg, the Willibgen Zoo, and on the way back, Fort Fun. It's a pity we didn't have more time for nature. The bed was very comfortable, and our children also slept well and safely (the loft bed had a safety guard). The only downside was that you had to go out of the apartment door to use the toilet. The beautiful terrace with a great view of nature made a wonderful impression.
Since we are sofa sitters, we had to cuddle a bit together in the evenings, but that was not a problem.
Towels and bed linen were freshly provided. A very good kitchen equipment with a freezer made everyday life on vacation affordable.
We were not here for the last time and wholeheartedly recommend it further.

Super accommodation
We were there as a couple with a dog for a week. The surroundings are simply dreamy. In the village itself, there are no shopping opportunities, but you can quickly reach the next town by car. On Wednesdays, an ice cream truck comes in the afternoon, and on Saturdays, you can buy rolls, bread, and cakes from the leading baker. From the vacation apartment, you can undertake many hikes; nearby is the Orke, so a dog always has the opportunity to splash around and drink. From the holiday apartment, you can reach a water treading pool in 5 minutes, where you can also swing or play table tennis. Rackets and balls are even under the table.
The holiday apartment is equipped with everything one could wish for. There is even a dishwasher for 6 place settings. The apartment is lovingly furnished and was beautifully decorated for us as well. Since we had good weather, we didn't use the living room at all because we enjoyed sitting on the covered balcony so much.
Our dog (he is almost 13 and large) had difficulty walking up the stairs by himself; his paws were too slippery. But with a harness and holding on, that was no problem either.
The apartment is very well insulated, so it was pleasantly cool despite summer temperatures. However, if requested, they could have turned on the heating for us. But that wasn't necessary at all. The Ziegler family is very nice and friendly. They are also happy to help with information about the area. For riders, there is the possibility to book a ride at the hotel (I did it and it was very nice). We would love to vacation there again.

Wir sind hier gewesen, haben statt bis Mittwoch 5. 8 verlängert bis 7. 8.
Die Wohnung ist wie es auf die Bilder aussieht. Gemütlich, sauber. Wohnküche, Schlafzimmer, Terrasse mit Aussicht, Toilette, alles bei einander in diesem gut unterhalten altem Haus, wo es schön ruhig ist. Die Vermieter sind nett und freundlich.
Man kann hier gut wandern, zur Edersee, oder schwimmen in Frankenberg (es war einige Tage warmes Wetter). Der Spielplatz in der Nähe ist schön am Fluß. Hier kann man Tischtennis spielen.
Weil es uns so gut gefallen ist, kommen wir gerne zurück!
Wir wurden sehr überrascht, der Ort ist ein maleriches Dörfchen wo noch jeder jeden kennt. 15 min zuvor besuchten wir noch flott einen Aldi markt und besorgten alle nötigen Dinge ca 8 Min entfernt ist win Nahkauf.
Die Wohnung hat einen tollen persönlichen flair. Uns hat es an Nichts gefehlt. Spülmaschinen Tabs und Kaffee Pulver und Filter habe ich an den Bildern erkannt und von Zuhause eingepackt. Der Ort ist für viele Unternehmungen möglich. Wir besuchten Winterberg, Den Tierpark Willibgen ubd auf dem Rückweg das Fort Fun schade dass wir nicht mehr zeit für die natur hatten. Das Bett war sehr bequem und auch unsere Kinder schliefen gut und sicher (das hochbett hatte eine Sicherung). Einziges Manko war dass man aus der Wohnungstür raus musste um das WC zu benutzen. Die wjnderschöne Terasse mit weiter toller Natur aussicht machte einen tollen Eindruck
Da wir sofa sitzer sind mussten wir uns abends etwas zusammen kuscheln, was aber kein problem darstellte.
Handtücher und bettwäsche lagen frisch bereit. Eine sehr gute küchen ausstattung mit Eisfach machte den Alltag im urlajb erschwinglich .
Wir waren nicht das letzte mal hier und empfehlen es von Herzen weiter.
Mittwochs kommt Nachmittags ein Eiswagen und Samstags kann man beim führenden Bäcker Brötchen, Brot und Kuchen kaufen.
Von der Ferienwohnung aus kann man viele Wanderungen unternehmen, in der Nähe ist die Orke so das ein Hund immer die Möglichkeit hat zu planschenund trinken. Von der Ferienwohnung aus kommt man in 5 Min. an ein Wassertretbecken dort kann man auch schaukeln oder Tischtennis spielen. Schläger und Bälle liegen sogar unter der Platte.
Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünschen kann. Sogar eine Spülmaschine für 6 Gedecke ist da. Die Wohnung ist mit Liebe eingerichtet und für uns auch schön dekoriert gewesen. Da wir gutes Wetter erwischt haben haben wir das Wohnzimmer gar nicht genutzt, weil wir so gerne auf dem überdachten Balkon gesessen haben.
Unser Hund (er ist fast 13 und groß) hatte Schwierigkeiten die Treppe alleine zu laufen, seine Pfoten waren zu glatt. Aber mit Geschirr und festhalten war auch das kein Problem.
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut isoliert so das es trotz Sommertemperaturen angenehm kühl war. Auf Wunsch hätte man aber auch die Heizung für uns angestellt. Das war aber gar nicht nötig.
Familie Ziegler ist sehr nett und freundlich. Hilft auch gerne mit Informationen zur Umgebung.
Für Reiter besteht die Möglichkeit im Hotel einen Ausritt zu buchen (hab ich gemacht und es war sehr schön).
Wir machen dort gerne nochmal Urlaub.
An die Familie Ziegler nochmals herzlichen Dank für die herrlichen Urlaubstage, hier ist man noch mit Herz und Seele dabei.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und die Ferienwohnung hat alles was man benötigt und noch mehr alles sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Die Landschaft ist einfach nur ein Traum alles sehr ruhig und viel freiraum für Kinder oder Spaziergänge.
Um es kurz zu machen in allem waren es ein paar sehr schöne Tage dort :)

Hier wurden wir mit der Ferienwohnung bei Familie Ziegler nicht enttäuscht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und schön gemütlich eingerichtet.
Direkt vor der Haustür, ca 200 m, ist ein Wassertretbecken mit Spielplatz, das natürlich bei den Kindern sehr beliebt war. Ein weiterer toller Spielplatz ist im Ort vorhanden. Und weitere Ausflugsziele wie Maislabyrinth, Wildtierpark und natürlich der Edersee waren gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Wohnung selbst lies keine Wünsche offen, mehr als wir in dieser Woche benötigten war vorhanden. Das Schlafzimmer bot noch genug Platz um zwei Reisebetten für die kleinsten aufzustellen. Für große Begeisterung bei den Kindern sorgte auch der große überdachte Balkon, so konnte hier auch bei schlechtem Wetter getobt und gespielt werden. Bei Familie Ziegler fühlten wir uns sehr wohl und jederzeit willkommen. Wir werden gerne wieder für eine Auszeit zurückkommen.

Die Umgebung ist ein Traum unseren beiden Jungs hat es sehr gefallen und wir würden immer wieder kommen .Die wundervolle grosse Terasse ist der Hammer .....aber aich der rest der unterkunft ist top ?
Der Edersee ist eine Reise wert und man kann sich auch Boote ausleihen und über den See fahren , es war wundervoll ? Aber auch die am Abend beleuchtete Staumauer ist der Hammer .Es gibt so viel zu erleben ....

Wir suchten eine ruhige Ferienwohnung zum entspannen und Wandern. Dieses haben wir zu 100% gefunden und bekommen!
Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele sind nach kurzer Fahrt erreichbar, viele angenehme Wandertouren haben wir direkt von der aus Wohnung gestartet.
Familie Ziegler hat uns herzlichen Begrüßung, Familie Ziegler stand uns auch immer für einen guten Touren-Rat zur Zeit.
Die Ferienwohnung hat alles was man benötigt und noch MEHR (top aussieht, Super leckere Ei vom Erzeuger,....)
Selten sooooo GUT untergekommen wie bei Familie Ziegler, DANKESCHÖN.

Ferienwohnung ist komplett ausgestattet und die Vermieter sehr nett.
Zum Edersee musste man etwas fahren, das hat uns jedoch nicht gestört, das sonst alles gepasst hat.
Die riesige Überdachte Terrasse ist den Sommermonaten der absolute Hit. Schützt vor Sonne und vor allem bei Regen kann man sich es dort sehr gemütlich machen und die grandiose Aussicht geniessen. Es fehlte uns an nix in der Ferienwohnung.
Der Ort Oberorke ist sehr klein und vor allem ruhig. Ein traumhaft schönes Fleckchen Erde!
Was den Kindern besonders gut gefallen hat ist der nahe Spielplatz, das Wassertreten in der Orke und natürlich der Wald zum klettern und entdecken.
Die Gastgeber sind eine sehr nette, kinderfreundliche Familie.
Bis zum Edersee mit seinen vielen Attraktionen sind es eine gute halbe Stunde mit dem Auto.
Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiter und sind uns sicher dort nicht zum letzten mal zu Gast gewesen zu sein! Ein Urlaub den man in guter Erinnerung behält. Danke
