Description

The house offers comfortable space for 4 people on 62 m² of living space. The house has 2 bedrooms with a total of 4 beds, a lounge with TV and radio, a kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower, as well as a separate WC. In addition, there are 2 extra beds for children in the bedrooms. Outside, there is a beautiful terrace with seating furniture and an adjoining lawn for sunbathing, as well as a barbecue facility. The car park is right next to the house. In winter, you have the possibility to borrow sledges and/or skis free of charge. Old but Gold

Accommodation very old but very clean and adequately equipped. Friendly host. The house is situated on a slope, with steep access and descent. Path to the house uneven and slippery, something to be aware of.

Wer hat denn diese Bewertung im Namen des Vermieters abgegeben? Fake? Das Haus hat 3*** und wer im Winter Urlaub macht, sollte damit rechnen, dass es auch mal Schnee geben kann, der nicht
gleich 6:00 Uhr weggeräumt ist. Im Dezember 2023 gab es allerdings gar keine Vermietung.

Highly recommended

We felt very comfortable here, everything very clean and tidy. Super quiet, which is how we like it. We had our dog with us.

Beautiful Ore Mountains

Mr Schneider made our holiday week a special experience with his kind and caring manner. The holiday flat is very well equipped. Grandparents and grandchildren had a very nice time.

Experience vacation instead of winter vacation

A planned winter vacation turned into a great adventure vacation for the children due to lack of snow. From the aquarium and grinding semi-precious stones themselves to the adventure pool and the house of explorers, everything was included that makes children's hearts (and parents' hearts 😉) beat faster! We were completely satisfied. A very friendly and nice landlord and accommodations that offer everything, plus a beautiful view. In conclusion...we will definitely come back.

Beautiful and relaxed vacation in the snow

We were able to enjoy a few beautiful days in the snow with perfect weather. The vacation house had everything important that we needed. Bathroom with shower, separate toilet, a small kitchen and a cozy living room, two spacious bedrooms with double beds. Even in the cold temperatures, the apartment stays nicely warm. A crib, high chair and sled with a toddler attachment were provided by the very nice landlords. We can only recommend the vacation house and would love to come back!

Ein wundervolles Wochenende

We were guests at the holiday home of the Schneider family over the weekend. We were able to relax and unwind perfectly. Not only the location and environment are unique, but also the tranquility in Rittersgrün. The holiday home has everything you need for a vacation and is superbly equipped. We were warmly welcomed and Mr. and Mrs. Schneider were always available to answer any questions. We can recommend the holiday home and will keep the address for our next visit to the Ore Mountains.

All around nice.

The cottage is essentially the upper floor above a garage and workshop, but that doesn't bother much. The nice landlords, the Schneider family, live right next door, and you can quickly and easily ask for small things and also get missing items like salad oil, etc.

Two nice large bedrooms, each with a double bed, while the so-called living area is somewhat smaller, but one probably only sits there in the winter. In summer, one uses the terrace, if it's not raining. It's especially nice in the afternoons, bathed in sunlight.

However, the sunbathing lawn is rather tiny and sloped, so it's not really usable.

TIP
The slope where the vacation house is located is quite steep, even though it's a public hiking trail. Access to the mountain becomes much easier if one wanders through the valley towards the outdoor pool and starts their hikes there. There, it goes gently uphill - and in our experience, the signposts are also more consistent and much more complete than if you climb up the slope and start from there.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Gleich daneben und oberhalb des Grundstückes sind weitere Nutzwiesen - und da vergeht, wie generell im Ort - kein Tag, an dem nicht irgendein Nachbar oder Rittersgrüner seiner Rasenmähleidenschaft nachgeht. Das ist aber überall so, und unbegreiflich ist, dass es bis heute keine einheitlichen Zeitfenster gibt, in denen dieses Rasenmähen nur erlaubt ist. (Diese sich durch das ganze Tal erstreckende Lärmbelästigung ist freilich nicht den Vermietern anzulasten!)

free time activities: Das Freibad ist recht nett - und superpreiswert (2 EUR pro Tag). Und dieses Seitental ist verkehrsberuhigt - noch netter.

2 Museen am Ort, ein Technikmuseum und 1 für Schmalspurbahnen, darüber hinaus gibt es in den Nachbarorten zahlreiche Lehrpfade und Schaubergwerke zum Silberbergbau.

shopping facilities: Der Tante-Emma-Laden vor Ort ist erstaunlich preiswert, v.a. was Getränke angeht quasi genauso preiswert, wenn nicht billiger als Supermärkte. Das übrige Angebot ist nicht berauschend.

Gleich nebenan gibt es noch einen Bäcker und einen Fleischer sowie einen Blumenladen, eine kleine Sparkasse findet sich ebenfalls da.

Ein weiterer Bäcker ist direkt neben dem Ferienhaus, der backt aber nur noch als Hobby und das zweimal in der Woche - dienstags und freitags.
