The Le Relais du Plessis Holiday Park is in the Touraine area. It is near the impressive Park de Richelieu. The 400 hectare park was founded by the famous Armand Jean du Plessis, Cardinal and Duke of Richelieu. Youll find one of the largest castles in France here. There is a very pleasant town within the ancient walls. You have direct access to the Park de Richelieu from the holiday park. You can discover the park on foot, by bike, in a carriage or on horseback. The region has a rich culture and history with interesting cities such as Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau, Tours, Chenonceau and Amboise. And while you're here, there are many superb regional specialities and delicious wines to enjoy.
This car-free holiday park covers four hectares and consists of various areas. The areas are named after painters, scientists, art and literature. The apartments are spread among eighteen charming wooden cottages. The cottages are built in perfect harmony with nature and their surroundings. You can also unwind by the swimming pool and on the bar's terrace. The Le Relais du Plessis Holiday Park is perfect for a splendid holiday.

Nice old town with a nice park, but there is little to do. Well nice places nearby but certainly half an hour away. People at the reception not very friendly and helpful.

We booked this holiday last minute and therefore paid the fraction of the original price. And that was just as well because the house left a lot to be desired. There were everywhere cobwebs, no toilet roll, leak tub, dust bunnies under the beds, kettle full of lime and brown spots, incomplete china cabinet (which was incidentally completed after having been knocked) freezer that was full of water on arrival, little storage space and no coat. We immediately went to the front desk to make us complain, we were worried that we would otherwise not get our deposit back at the end of the week. The staff was very friendly and helpful but mainly in words, not in deeds. So would someone immediately come to hang a toilet roll. We have not seen anyone during the holidays. But now it seems that there is nothing deugde and that is not true. The pool was basic but fine for us. The park was quiet and orderly small. So the kids could play pretty and we had them in sight. The weather was fantastic which always helps. So much outdoor life, not in the cottage. The area is nice but the real attractions you have to drive at least half an hour. The

Great place to stay with our baby 'tje of just a year old. The pool is small for all the guests, and when we were there baby pool was closed. The playground consists of a plastic slide, so it is not much.

We've had a lovely stay at Throughout Relais du Plessis and can recommend it wholeheartedly! The park is located right in the heart of the Loire valley, with all the major sights (castles, towns, museums) at a maximum of 45 minutes but often far less driveaway. The Loire region is absolutely beautiful and holiday makers of all kinds will find something of Their fancy. The Relais du Plessis itself is a lovely little holiday park on the edge of the town of Richelieu. It has a fair number of well-equipped, clean, modern two-room and three-room cottages, all arranged around a central, well-shaded lawn and a very nice, large enough swimming pool. The park's central building is WiFi enabled and there is a fully equipped launderette on the premises. For Those Who fancy it, there is a health spa as well. The on-site restaurant serves fine meals as well as take-away pizzas, All which is very handy. A prize-winning boulanger as well as a large Intermarché takes only a 5 minutes walk. Our kids 9 or 13 and absolutely loved it here and made many new friends. The enclosed premises makes it a safe place for children to go out and play and have fun all day without the necessity of supervision so parents can enjoy a day of tranquility too -). Finally, the

In general, a successful holiday. The accommodation is well cared for but is in a relatively quiet but beautiful part of France. For small children there is plenty to do and there is a good pool. For teenagers there is not much to do. Pity the internet reception is limited to around the main building. Young people can not do without wifi. Cities such as Chinon, Salmour and Tours are within driving distance and are well worth visiting. Our average total figure would be a seven.

We have had very good time at this cottage park. Kindly helped by the staff. Nice dinner in the restaurant. Bed was a bit on the small side but otherwise in fully equipped.

Nice, clean apartment but for our family with 2 small children too small with only one bedroom. There also were missing Wardrobe was alone in the hallway closet where you could put on your coat hangen.Mooi just kitchen and the bathroom looked neat nieuw.Heel fairly quiet car-free park where children so nice could play among the trees. You miss or only what kinderspeeltoestellen.Het pool is not heated. The restaurant must book in advance and all they speak poor or no English. Can you speak French, they ask nicely if you want the menu of the day or a bottle of water from the tap.

We enjoyed the week we were here. Coincidentally, there were many (en) children of the same age, so there was every night by 10 to 15 children played hide and seek. Fun environment, just some little sunbeds at the pool during the very hot days.

"Relais du Plessis" is a beautiful and well-kept holiday park. It is ideally located to the environment (wijroutes, castles, villages, ....) to go exploring. The cottages are clean, but very small. So you will not close the door of the bedroom because the bed is in the way. As a young couple without children this holiday is not entirely suitable, as there are mostly families staying with children. In itself, this really was not a problem, but the pool is called quickly with kids and they also ran "in the morning and down the stairs so we were woken early. We had expected that the park was in a forest, and we it could go cycling, but this was not so. The underlying forest is in fact closed to people. This we felt very sorry. 800m from the resort is a intermarche lies the village of Richelieu. 1 km. This is a very cozy village where you can sit down to drink or eat. relax on a terrace is also the park of Richelieu's worth it to go see.

A good home for the holidays. There is much to see in the area, visiting the town itself, and the town of Chinon is worth. The pool on site at peak times is too small. There are too few chairs, because the area around the pool is small in size. There is little explanation of the Hammam, etc. There is also no real speeltuin.Dat is one downside. Many people went bikes to explore the neighborhood. In town Saumur (approx 1 hour drive) been. Good for shopping or cozy sitting on a terrace. The spa area of u200bu200bthe park has high prices! Pity. Playground was not to be found, was aangegeven.Appartementen are clean / tidy. Very practical. Of this time. Only gym was once an idea but not yet implemented. That was the answer we got when we asked where to find that space. Richelieu delicious dinner at Restaurant Les Halles. In other restaurants you can eat well for not too much. However, from about 19h in the evening, but that's part of the holiday. We were there with two small children. And who have wonderfully entertained.
