We were received by the very friendly owners with fruit, sandwiches and cool wine. The house is in a beautiful setting. In the village you have several restaurants. You can jump in the pool or cool off in the lake that you can find nearby.

We arrived after midnight, but everything was ready for us. In the morning, we first enjoyed the private terrace, and it was nice that the grill was available. The pool also provided a lot of fun in the afternoon.

I would recommend everyone to stop here. We had a great time in this cozy cabin in Penafiel. Enough space for our group and the shared swimming pool was well received by everyone, especially the children.

Nicely situated, spacious holiday home within walking distance (approx. 800m) from the village of Agão. The owners are extremely hospitable and helpful, for example helping us ensure that we could charge our electric car at the house. People in the area are also friendly, with some English and some hands and feet you get everything done. In the area several nice places to visit, including Porto.

Upon our early arrival at the house received very warmly. Peter, one of the owners surprised us with a few bottles of champagne, because he knew we had something to celebrate this holiday. We are also extensively informed about the state of affairs and about the environment. It was very friendly and there was a very relaxed atmosphere quickly. With the village within walking distance, the friendly Portuguese, and the surprisingly beautiful country, this has become an unforgettable holiday for us, the children and grandchildren. The house was fine for us, the pool we have frequently used by the beautiful weather. Porto, a beautiful historic city, where you do not have enough in a day. Worth the trouble of returning. Ton and Monique Beijk, Wendy, Robbert, Ryan and Nolan, Jimmy and Femke.

Uncomplicated contact with the landlord of the property. Scenic hillside location with great vegetation (even in April) and large garden. Landlord also speaks German and assists in practical matters to excursions and reservations for guided tours - very hospitable but discreet.

Very warm reception by the Belgian owners. Very flexible and focused on the further sweeten the stay. Beautiful setting for beautiful walks and still within walking distance of a supermarket and a few restaurants. Porto and Guimaresh are not really far away and well worth a visit.
