Villa looked nice but sadly it is old and tired. Upstairs bedroom smelt musty and damp so we did not use that. Upstairs shower leaks despite telling agent who said someone would look at it and leaving keys for them they never bothered to show up Black Mould in the corner of the hallway Only made one bed with one pillow, had to hunt for the pillows and pillowcases never did get delivered so had to wrap them up in a teeshirt. Sofa & Pillows smelt like a wet dog had been on them and the towels we were left had to be rewashed as they smelt musty and like our dogs towel after a bath! No grill for outside BBQ and nothing to clean the pool out with although be warned you are responsible for cleaning outside - but with nothing to clean it! The £150 cleaning charge for half a house is steep considering that the villa was not that clean, windows were dirty, finger prints over the tv screen and place just smells and looks like it needs a good scrub. Electric gates do not open fully and you have to open and close them multiple times to get them to open, it is easier to just park on the road. Good points.....plenty of pots and pans, washing machine, somewhere to sleep. It may have been a 9.5 in 2022 but its been neglected since

Good, but for that price it would have been nice to have a working espresso machine and toaster. Now we have to make do with filter coffee and a poorly functioning toaster. Furthermore, the house smelled musty and damp, which meant we had to keep the windows open for the first few days. Otherwise, the house and pool are fine.

Very friendly welcome by Orlando, the person in charge, received a tour of the entire villa with a decent word of explanation about, among other things, all the appliances present that we could use. The accommodation itself is fantastic in one word, equipped with every comfort, everything is still new, clean and tidy and really everything was provided. Beautiful surroundings, quiet location and away from the crowds so that we could enjoy our stay in peace. Renting a car is a must as the accommodation is quite far away but that did not bother us at all. Beautiful villages and towns that are definitely worth a visit !! A top location !!!!

A fantastic spacious villa with lovely pool. The house is fully equipped, even shopping bags are present (and that's pretty fine). Toys for the kids to swim with are also present. The landlord's contact person is very friendly and available for questions (or problems). The house is in a very quiet area with beautiful (far) views. By car you can easily explore the nearby area. Roads are fine. We have been there for 2 weeks and have not been able to see everything.

It was fantastic, thanks in part to the managers of the villa. No mountain too high, no question too much. Kathy and Christophe solve everything, if there is anything. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need in a house, looks well maintained and clean. The view and the surroundings are stunning, the sea is close but also the shops and restaurants. Due to the smooth journey we were a little earlier than the agreed time in the house, fortunately this was not a problem.

A map showed us around the house and the area.

We stayed here with 4 people. Personally, I would find it a bit too busy with eight people.

Inventory was not completely complete, but because there were four of us, we did not experience this as a problem.

There were also some personal items in the house (see other review) I did not experience this as disturbing.

Pool was clean, and everything worked fine.

Enjoyed it very much and would like to come back again.

Fantastic House, it does show some signs of wear and tear, but overall great. Big minor point is the fact that we were not allowed to BBQ, on the images an BBQ is shown but it seems this is not allowed anymore, which we would like to have known during the booking process.

Received a clear explanation of the address and contact details of the landlord via Belvilla.

Contacted the landlord via Whatsapp. This all went fine.

Due to the smooth journey we were a little earlier than the agreed time in the house, fortunately this was not a problem.

Nice spacious and clean and cozy house.

A map showed us around the house and the area.

We stayed here with 4 people. Personally, I would find it a bit too busy with eight people.

Inventory was not completely complete, but because there were four of us, we did not experience this as a problem.

There were also some personal items in the house (see other review) I did not experience this as disturbing.

Pool was clean, and everything worked fine.

Enjoyed it very much and would like to come back again.

Quiet village. With some small restaurants and shops

We mainly drove to surrounding villages / towns by car for restaurants and tourist trips. This cottage is ideal for this.

Beautiful house, fully equipped, so highly recommended. However, a number of points for attention for the owner: The bottom of the pool was not clean. In addition, there are all kinds of food and personal items in the house, so we had the feeling that we were visiting someone.

Hello, have had a very good experience in the villa in Famalicao everything was there and good care beautiful bedrooms and living space. In the area you can visit a lot and go eat well. We had the bad luck that the pool was not completely clean due to some error, but there were 2 times to see what could be done about it was.Wel Recommended. Greetings Franky and family

A fantastic spacious villa with lovely pool. The house is fully equipped, even shopping bags are present (and that's pretty fine). Toys for the kids to swim with are also present. The landlord's contact person is very friendly and available for questions (or problems). The house is in a very quiet area with beautiful (far) views. By car you can easily explore the nearby area. Roads are fine. We have been there for 2 weeks and have not been able to see everything.

The arrival was in the dark, so actually we did not know where we had arrived, but after a good night's sleep and sunrise we woke up in the middle of the mountains. The area was really great !! The house was really fantastic, nothing was missing.

Arrived at a different time, but this was no problem at all. Accommodation looks very good and meets all requirements. Environment is beautiful but you must have a car available, unfortunately no shop is within a reasonable distance.

On arrival at the house we were pleasantly surprised about the layout and cleanliness of the house. Everything you could need was present. The area was beautiful, nice and quiet with a great view. The pool was freezing cold, but that didn't matter to many of us.

Very friendly welcome by Orlando, the person in charge, received a tour of the entire villa with a decent word of explanation about, among other things, all the appliances present that we could use. The accommodation itself is fantastic in one word, equipped with every comfort, everything is still new, clean and tidy and really everything was provided. Beautiful surroundings, quiet location and away from the crowds so that we could enjoy our stay in peace. Renting a car is a must as the accommodation is quite far away but that did not bother us at all. Beautiful villages and towns that are definitely worth a visit !! A top location !!!!
