There are three different types of holiday homes for rent at Holiday Park Emslandermeer.

There's a standard 6-person holiday home (NL-9541-21). This house is beautifully furnished and features a living room and open kitchen. There are houses of this type with one bedroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor, or three bedrooms on the first floor. There are always two single beds, that may or may not be set up for two people. Some holiday homes feature two bathrooms, while others feature one bathroom on the ground floor. The bathroom has a shower. There is a separate toilet and a storage room with charging point for electric bikes.

There's also a comfort type with the 6-person holiday home (NL-9541-22). This holiday home features a living room with TV on the ground floor with a (limited range of) German channels. There is an open kitchen with dishwasher. You'll find a shower in the bathroom. There are houses of this type with one bedroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor, or three bedrooms on the first floor. There are always two single beds, that may or may not be set up for two people.

Finally, there is the 8-person comfort holiday home (NL-9541-23). This holiday home features a living room with TV on the ground floor with a (limited range of) German channels. There is an open kitchen with dishwasher and a combination microwave or oven. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. There is also one bedroom with two single beds, that may or may not be set up for two people. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one of which with two single beds and one with two bunkbeds. There are, however, holiday homes with a different bedroom layout (three bedrooms upstairs with a total of eight single beds, whether or not set up for two people, or one bedroom on the ground floor with two single beds and two bedrooms upstairs with two bunkbeds each).

All holiday homes feature a garden with terrace and garden furniture. There's parking space for two cars. The exterior, interior and furnishings differ between holiday homes. The photos shown, the description and the layout are only an indication. The holiday homes are available in a semi-detached and/or detached version.

Holiday park Emslandermeer is a large holiday park in the east of the province of Groningen, not far from the Dutch-German border. The village of Vlagtwedde is about 1.5 km away.

Holiday park Emslandermeer has a wide range of facilities for young and old. There are playgrounds, sports fields, minigolf, tennis courts and of course the lake. This is the ideal place for swimming, canoeing or fishing. When the weather's not great, you can go to the subtropical swimming paradise with children's pool. Adults can enjoy a range of wellness activities. These include a solarium, infrared and traditional sauna, and a bubblebath. An (à la carte) restaurant and take-away service make it all complete. You can pick up fresh bread rolls every morning.

A range of day trips can be taken in the local area. These include: Amusement park Drouwenerzand in Drouwen (29 km.), Fortress Bourtange in the town of the same name (7.5 km.), Wellness Resort Fontana in Bad Nieuweschans (25 km.), Ballorig (an indoor playground for children) in Stadskanaal (14 km.), The Groninger Museum in Groningen (54 km.), The Hunebedcentrum in Borger (30 km.), Wonderwereld in Ter Apel (23 km.) and Family Park Rijk der Kabouters, fun for children up to 8 years old in Eext (35 km.). Of course, you can also explore nearby cities such as Emmen (41 km.), Groningen (54 km.) or Assen (54 km.). All with their own character, but there are always opportunities for shopping, absorbing the culture or having a lovely meal or drink in a nice restaurant or terrace. (Long) hike and / or cycling through the natural surroundings of Emslandermeer holiday park are also possible.

We had a wonderful stay at the tidy holiday home near Emslandermeer! The location was perfect for our family, with plenty of space for everyone, The kids loved the garden and the outdoor swimming pool, which made for a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby sights, The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals, We particularly enjoyed visiting the nearby Molen De Korenbloem, which was just a short drive away, Overall, a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

We appreciated our time here, but the WiFi could have been better for streaming. On the other hand, the house was spacious enough for our group, and the check-in process was easy. A pleasant stay overall!

Super location close to the lake! The house was spacious enough for our 6, and the outdoor pool was nice, even though we didn't use it much. The cleanliness was impeccable. Some extra kitchen utensils would have made cooking easier.

Our house, nr 197, was not at all what we expected based on the photos. It was, in comparison with other houses in the park, really less. In terms of maintenance of the house outside (paintwork peeling off), on the terrace (plants overgrown and a broken lounger), as well as inside. (mattresses in the master bedroom were uneven, for example). Really a disappointment. The spot was the only plus. Very nice view of the water. Well far from the reception or playgrounds, so our children actually could not go somewhere on their own, while they would have the age for it. In our opinion, really not recommended.
