When we arrived at the chalet it was not clean. There were still dog hair scattered around here and there. Especially among the banks. And some things were missing such as a sauce spoon, stirring spoons ,. There was, however, a sauce bowl and a meat fork that were not on the list of what hung in the cupboard what should be there. We only reported this when we went home again. Because I have worked for 25 years in this industry as an inspector and know that the ladies / gentlemen have little time to brush optimally. We had a wonderful long weekend in a spacious and nice chalet (6pers) the park is in the middle of the woods and nice and quiet, the chalet where we were in (nr 125) was unfortunately really among the trees and so little in the sun can sit, but then you walk a little path and you sit in the sun along the heath. The chalet is nice and spacious, it does need a makeover, but we have looked through it! You have many corners to go see, tree crown, Assen, Hunebedcentrum, kabouterland and what is fun if your child loves dinosaurs, Estate Dinopark Tenaxx in Wedde, complete route with climbing activities and a search for different dino "s, very nice! In short, we have enjoyed very much and who knows we will come back again!

The arrival was a complete surprise. We searched for a Bel villa holiday park with chalets and ended up in a Roompot holiday park with holiday homes, where we were booked. Then came the next surprise. We had calculated that we had paid the total stay through Belvilla and that only a deposit had to be paid on arrival. That was not true. In total we had to pay 250 Euro for dog, cleaning, tourist tax and deposit. Our belvilla discounted for early booking of 200 Euro! And our expected chalet turned out to be a simple holiday home, albeit with all the necessary simple inventory, but still somewhat of a disappointment because we were totally uninformed by Belvilla about these changes. Too bad, a little more information in advance our first day could have saved the disappointment. Fortunately, we had good weather in our holiday period, which did some good.

The environment for nature lovers and top shape, but also if you are interested in culture there is plenty to see. Fun for families with children under 12 years is the amusement park in Drouwenerzand, food and drink is included in the price! We have great fun in Drenthe and will certainly come back again.

The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very nice. The service for any concerns in the house was great (fast and reliable). The house was equipped with everything you need. Quietly located park in the woods. Friendly staff. Overall, we are satisfied so far except for 2 points:

if you have a pet you pay almost €100 for 1 week more than if you had a child, while with a child there is a greater risk that something will break than with a pet. You have to pay extra for cleaning costs while a child can make more dirt or make something on the table, wall or dirty than a pet. I therefore do not think this arrangement is fair that you have to pay so much more. You still have to clean, the bins have to be emptied anyway (pamper) weighs more than a poop bag. There is even less work for staff because they do not use play equipment, swimming pool, entertainment etc etc. Therefore, once again, the extra € 100 per week for a pet is unfair. For families without children with a pet, it is their child and not an object. I would no longer consider it normal that this is carefully thought through and adjustments are made to the prices if a neat and fair answer comes back from you. Because this is discriminatory and shameful of the travel organizations.

Clearly indicate at Belvilla that you will receive 2 invoices because it is misleading. This also applies to the many e-mails before and during the holiday that are unnecessary, so that costs can be reduced and a holiday made affordable for a wider group. Enjoyed the surrounding nature and the clean park. Great start with walking from the front door. The cottage, where we were with the dog, was simple but sufficient. For me as a visually impaired the lighting was poor because it was not bright enough. Our only disturbing factor was the lack of a good cutting kitchen knife. Also only a bread knife or paring knife available at the reception. So that really resulted in cuts.

It was a nice relaxing holiday, the reception worked smoothly, the staff at the reception and in the gastronomy was nice and also spoke German very well, the house was equipped with everything you need and was clean, the only drawback was the only 3 German TV channels, We would have liked to have asked for a few more, especially in the age of highly developed technology, it's a shame that there wasn't more choice. Our chalet was in a lovely quiet spot, surrounded by tall trees. This gives a lot of privacy. It was clean, nicely decorated, we felt right at home. All necessities were present. We enjoyed the area. And were satisfied with the chalet. nr 102Tip: A sink strainer would be nice (small investment) but it prevents blockages. The inside of the microwave does not look clean due to frequent use. (greasy, brown deposits) or a thorough cleaning or a new microwave. Tip : In the shower cabin a holder where you can put the shower supplies while showering.

The chalet is pleasant to stay in. We were only 2 adults. If there are six of you, the bathroom might be a bit of a struggle. In terms of things you can store in it and the only mirror in the house is in the bathroom. Nice that there is a separate toilet. Inventory is okay. All employees are very friendly. We had a bit of ants and an hour after reporting someone was at the door. At the center, some places to park your bike would also be nice. The houses are beautifully situated with a lot of privacy.

We had a wonderful long weekend in a spacious and nice chalet (6pers) the park is in the middle of the woods and nice and quiet, the chalet where we were in (nr 125) was unfortunately really among the trees and so little in the sun can sit, but then you walk a little path and you sit in the sun along the heath. The chalet is nice and spacious, it does need a makeover, but we have looked through it! You have many corners to go see, tree crown, Assen, Hunebedcentrum, kabouterland and what is fun if your child loves dinosaurs, Estate Dinopark Tenaxx in Wedde, complete route with climbing activities and a search for different dino "s, very nice! In short, we have enjoyed very much and who knows we will come back again!

We arrived 1 hour early at the park. We were welcomed with gluwijn and chocolate milk with whipped cream. Also getting the access passes went very smoothly. However, we could not enter the house even though it was already ready. So we had to wait another hour. Because it was raining we didn't go for a walk first. A little more flexibility was better for us. The house itself was neat (with some dust under the beds) and meets expectations. The area was new to us and lots of forest nearby.

Facilities at the park we found sufficient enough entertainment for the kids (2-12yrs) A swimming pool (no water slides). Sufficient playgrounds for the kids. Cars that you separate the park which houses free of gaze and the children can play safely around the house. There are still people who believe that you at least fifty kilometers pu on a holiday must tear ..... there is a word for that kind of people ..
