Do you need peace and quiet, nature, but also sports activities? Then a stay at Waterrijk Oesterdam is definitely worth it. The water-rich park, as the name suggests, lies in the middle of the Oosterschelde National Park. It lies on the border of Zeeland and Noord-Brabant, both with their own characteristic atmosphere, culture and landscape.
From the park you can easily reach the Oosterschelde, the Grevelingenmeer or the Veerse Meer. A number of new facilities were opened in the spring of 2019, including a marina with sanitary facilities and a luxurious dining & lounge with a terrace on the water. Not all villas are located directly on the water and if you want water location, this must be stated when booking.
Waterrijk Oesterdam is a quiet holiday park under construction with lots of water. The luxury detached villas were designed by Piet Boon. There is the option of mooring your own boat. Various excursions are possible in Zeeland, North Brabant or Belgium.
Reservations made by companies for their own employees are always on request. If the reservation is approved then the following rules will be applied: a maximum of 1 employee per bedroom, an additional final cleaning will be charged every two weeks, new bed linen will be charged every two weeks.
For groups other than persons traveling together as a family, an additional deposit of 50 per person is required.
On Waterrijk Oesterdam there are construction works that can cause noise pollution from Monday to Friday. No work is planned during the weekends.
All accommodations at Waterrijk Oesterdam are non-smoking.
It is not permitted for companies to make bookings for employees who have a purpose other than recreation on it
park stay.
If you want a house on the water, you can request this with costs.
Reservations for groups or parties of people under the age of 21 are not permitted
This holiday villa can only be booked by family groups. Non-family groups are not allowed due to the tranquility of the resort. Organizing club outings, student parties, bachelor parties and other groups with a festive character is not allowed.

Scandalous. We were treated badly by the staff. The house was not clean and we did not get our deposit back. The staff ruined our weekend!

The beds were not made. We did it ourselves but it turned out that the bed linen was not changed. We received new bedding and made the beds the second time. The dirty goods would be picked up the next day and we would hear about it again, but that did not happen so we brought the dirty bedding to the reception on Sunday. The crockery and pans were unfortunately not clean. There was chewing gum in the couch. The dryer did not dry 4 towels after 6 hours. One bedroom blind was broken. Seats outside were broken. We discussed our signals and were asked to file a complaint because no one could accept our complaint during the weekend. We then hear that we have not reported the complaints and we receive a compensation of € 80 for a weekend stay of € 1200. We are unfortunately not satisfied with this. Never experienced anything like this before.
