The only thing was that the steps were scary. In front of the kitchen door, we placed a small box on the ground to set the step. Everyone stepped over it neatly. In the hallway, we left the light on at night in case someone needed to go to the toilet. Fantastic house!!!

Beautiful old farmhouse in the middle of nature. Lovely walks from your house. Cosy house, large living room and large well-equipped kitchen, good beds, nice modern bathrooms and toilets. Nice and warm for a stay in the middle of winter.

It was very comfortable to stay with 8 people, nice bedrooms and modern bathrooms and toilets.
For our group the practical kitchen with large round table and the living room with fireplace were very cozy.

Great for family or for group of friends.We were there during a cold weekend, but the house was a great stay. The patches of forest and towns in the vicinity were still very inviting for walks.And - not unimportant - the hosts are excellent: clear communication, and very helpful if need be. Can't recommend enough.

In connection with Corona, there was no reception, only contact via email and whatsapp.De accommodation is beautiful, you can enjoy hiking or cycling in the area. Doorn is a pleasant village with delicious restaurants, be sure to visit the Italian restaurant Nonna "s! The adjacent village of Langbroek is also worth a visit, you can enjoy a lovely walk, and here again a good restaurant, Torbijn! nice things in the neighborhood, the Military Museum in Soesterberg, Castle de Haar in Haarzuilen, Amersfoort are very nice.The accommodation itself is beautiful, beds are fine, only the house is not suitable for people with mobility problems, due to the many thresholds in the house, There are also only 2 sleeping places accessible without stairs. There is an upstairs room with 2 beds, which can be reached by a piece or creaky steps. The other sleeping places are upstairs, accessible by a very steep staircase. kitchen is fine, everything is there, the furniture in the living room is worthless, there is no place where you can sit properly, everything has sagged heavily, this is really not possible !! But for the rest we have one had a fantastic holiday and the weather was nice so fortunately we did not have to spend much time in the living room. Where, by the way, also at higher temperatures outside a huge stove air hangs through the stove that is there.

On the site this location is already a picture, but in reality it is a feast for the eyes. Beautiful location with countless opportunities for walking and cycling or otherwise. We got a tour and saw that the house was very cozy and fully equipped. And the beds were already made! We have a wonderful (family) weekend at this address.

Furthermore all beds made up, everything present. In the area there is everything to do, but you can also sit in the garden and work the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. On Saturday we had a cultural tour first at the Arboretum in Doorn with reception with coffee pie, afterwards a lunch in the Doorman House of Door Doorn and following a tour of the House. On Sunday, a sporting day was a canoe trip from Cothen (the Pronckheer) with a coffee pie, a lunch halfway through the orchard of farmer Tom and at the end the drink was ready at the Pronckheer. We had a great weekend with a lovely home as a base. Worth repeating!

We were given a warm welcome to our home away from home (California). The house was very cozy and everything we could hope for. Beautifully located in country side with nature all around. This was the perfect house for us and our large family. Many lunches and dinners hosted in the beautiful kitchen with our Dutch family.

Environment is fine. The house certainly has potential but is really in need of a major refurbishment. Both in terms of entrance and painting. The furniture is very poor in terms of furniture and the sofas / seats are absolutely inadequate in terms of seating comfort and need replacement.

Both in and out of the sun. For cyclists, so also for us, a beautiful setting for a short or longer bike ride. It was very hot so cycling under the trees was delicious. We enjoyed.
