We are thrilled with the place and the surroundings, as well as with the people - all helpful, friendly. We will plan our next vacation there again. However, that's it: the landlord didn't put in much effort - we had no contact. Documents compiled in a folder, some instructions, we could not put the dishwasher into operation, the oven was defective and since it was 2-3 days under 16 degrees - the heating system was non-existent and finally: the property was unfortunately not completely fenced, therefore only conditionally usable for dogs. And one more thing, one of the TVs was not set to German and not much larger than my monitor (27 inches). We sincerely apologize.

We really enjoyed it again: the great location by the North Holland Canal, a small canal behind the house, the whole property is beautifully surrounded by greenery. Distance to the sea, to the lovely town of Alkmaar. Dune landscape = everything perfect. The little house is cozy, everything as described, very quiet, hardly any visibility from the neighbors. If you don't expect luxury on vacation, the house is 100% recommended.

On its own, a good little house and friendly people. But: the access road is in poor condition and the parking lot is not or barely paved and very muddy. The cottage was in order, everything you might need was present. Good heating and wonderfully hot water with enough pressure. The furniture was quite old and the walls could use a coat of paint. During my stay, it rained a lot and the parking lot and the path to the cottage were covered in mud. This made it very difficult to keep the cottage clean.

Great location in an excellent environment. Chalet is fully equipped and an excellent base for hiking, cycling, beach, forest and dunes. Pleasant reception and lots of space around it. Two drawbacks, the N9 gives the necessary traffic noise, especially with the wrong wind, 145 euros cleaning costs for a chalet of less than 50 m2! Then you can certainly expect it to be perfectly clean and it certainly wasn't!

No dishcloths. Bicycles could not in the shed in the rain. Too little toilet roll. Only a little hand soap, bar of soap not present. No cooperation camping boss key pole. No shower mat against slipping. No WiFi. House poorly maintained, grass not mowed, umbrella foot filthy.

Helpful Hr. Homan who caught us at the cottage. Nice park, small and well-arranged. (3 entrances, do agree on which entrance!) Walk a bit with stuff from the parking lot to the house. A nice house, fully equipped, about 7 km from the beautiful beach Schoorl aan Zee, 11 km from the nice city of Alkmaar, beautiful bike ride on the dike to Schagen. Good beds, nice shower, nice to sit outside, good dining room chairs, well-equipped kitchen. Bottle of wine and nuts as a welcome and some kitchen items immediately present as first use. (coffee, filters, toilet paper, kitchen rolls, etc.) Not large, but big enough for 2 people. We have felt at home there. Clear agreements about leaving the house and calling in help if needed were also very pleasant. Fine stay, pleasant reception and resolving issues. For example, there appeared to be no wifi, which was promised. Mr. Homan immediately took action to solve this (no WiFi however in the house). When it gets really hot, it is also immediately warm inside this house, but because of the folding doors it has cooled down in no time. Quite noisy when guests are seated outside in the adjacent cottages. Lovely view at the rear, peace and quiet with frogs, owls and sheep. A quiet dike along which occasional traffic comes.

Had four very nice days. Schoorl - beach - Bergen aan Zee - Petten is good to do by bike. Cottage equipped with all conveniences. Behind the bunk bed, there was a lot of dust and dirt and some cobwebs on the ceiling, but we overlooked that. A bottle of wine as a welcome was super nice!

Helpful Hr. Homan who caught us at the cottage. Nice park, small and well-arranged. (3 entrances, do agree on which entrance!) Walk a bit with stuff from the parking lot to the house. A nice house, fully equipped, about 7 km from the beautiful beach Schoorl aan Zee, 11 km from the nice city of Alkmaar, beautiful bike ride on the dike to Schagen. Good beds, nice shower, nice to sit outside, good dining room chairs, well-equipped kitchen. Bottle of wine and nuts as a welcome and some kitchen items immediately present as first use. (coffee, filters, toilet paper, kitchen rolls, etc.) Not large, but big enough for 2 people. We have felt at home there. Clear agreements about leaving the house and calling in help if needed were also very pleasant. Fine stay, pleasant reception and resolving issues. For example, there appeared to be no wifi, which was promised. Mr. Homan immediately took action to solve this (no WiFi however in the house). When it gets really hot, it is also immediately warm inside this house, but because of the folding doors it has cooled down in no time. Quite noisy when guests are seated outside in the adjacent cottages. Lovely view at the rear, peace and quiet with frogs, owls and sheep. A quiet dike along which occasional traffic comes.

The location is ideal for exploring the area, The beach is just a few minutes' drive away, and we enjoyed biking through the countryside, The bungalow itself was well-maintained and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming bungalow in Warmenhuizen! The location was perfect for our family, with beautiful views of the countryside and only a short drive to the stunning beaches in Schoorl aan Zee and Camperduin. The spacious terrace was our favorite spot to relax in the sun while the kids played in the garden. The bungalow was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a cozy living room to a fully equipped kitchen. We appreciated the child-friendly amenities, especially the high chair and crib. Overall, a fantastic family getaway!

Had four very nice days. Schoorl - beach - Bergen aan Zee - Petten is great to do by bike. Cottage equipped with all conveniences. Behind the bunk bed, there was a lot of dust and dirt and some cobwebs on the ceiling, but we looked past that. A bottle of wine as a welcome, super nice!

The e.e.a. has already been filled in when asked how the key transfer was, good. Cottage itself was good. Not with the car at the house for unloading, too heavy. TV bad. hanging towel bad. No dishcloths. Bicycles could not in the shed in the rain. Too little toilet roll. Only a little hand soap, bar of soap not present. No cooperation camping boss key pole. No shower mat against slipping. No WiFi. House poorly maintained, grass not mowed, umbrella foot filthy.

Great location in an excellent environment. Chalet is fully equipped and an excellent base for hiking, cycling, beach, forest and dunes. Pleasant reception and lots of space around it. Two drawbacks, the N9 gives the necessary traffic noise, especially with the wrong wind, 145 euros cleaning costs for a chalet of less than 50 m2! Then you can certainly expect it to be perfectly clean and it certainly wasn't!

A very welcoming reception by the owner. It is a comfortable house, with all the trimmings. Towels bed linen dishwasher oven and microwave. We had a very nice week, partly because the weather was beautiful. Nice that there are 2 umbrellas and different seats, so you can also look up the shade. We enjoyed the area and especially the beach in Petten. Received a bottle of wine as a welcome, what a sweet gesture. This stay is worth repeating for us. Greeting Pieter and Maria from Uden.
