This place is amazing, cherries nearby and Utrecht just a stone's throw away? The location is spot on, perfect for cycling and exploring, and the interior is very aesthetic, we will definitely come back.

Everything was good, except that I would have liked more dining options nearby. However, the kitchen was fully equipped, so we could prepare nice meals. The garden was a nice bonus, perfect for morning coffee.

The cabin was very nice with a lovely terrace by the water, 2 bedrooms, a very well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful cooking and serving accessories, BBQ outside. The hostess was very friendly, made sure we were comfortable, and suggested things to do in the area.

I really loved how spacious the chalet was. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms, which was a big plus. It made our stay very comfortable. The area is quiet, perfect for relaxing, but close enough to Utrecht for nice day trips.

We had a nice experience at Gorgeous Riverside Chalet. The layout was practical, with two en-suite bedrooms that gave us enough privacy. Although the location was beautiful, we found it a bit remote if you wanted access to more restaurants and activities. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but we would have liked a bit more vibrant atmosphere in the area.

The view over the river is iconic, chill vibes on the terrace, perfect for enjoying coffee or just relaxing, the open kitchen has a whole atmosphere, and having my own bathroom in the room? Big plus.

We had a fantastic time at Gorgeous Riverside Chalet! The location was great and the amenities were fine. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, and the terrace was just beautiful for relaxing in the evenings.

We had an amazing time at Gorgeous Riverside Chalet! The location is simply stunning, right by the Kromme Rijn, and relaxing on the spacious terrace with a beautiful view was wonderful. The chalet itself is tastefully decorated and feels very cozy. It was perfect for our group, with two comfortable bedrooms and modern amenities. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen and even organized a barbecue evening. The nearby cycling and walking trails were an added bonus for us, and a day in Utrecht was just a short drive away. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

What a gem! The chalet is beautifully designed and has a fantastic vibe. We loved the direct access to the terrace from the kitchen—it made dining outdoors a pleasure. The area is quiet, and we made the most of the cycling routes. Everything was well-maintained, and the owner was very kind and helpful. We will definitely return!

Family Teichert July 2020We spent a wonderful holiday in this tastefully furnished house. Despite the fact that we arrived too early, we were able to check in before the agreed time. The house is very clean and has a large terrace right on the river. If you want, you can step into the refreshing water via a footbridge / ladder and swim against the current. A bike path is not far from the house, from where you can wonderfully explore the surrounding area. A bakery or SPAR can be easily reached by bike or on foot. The house itself has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. These rooms share a common living area in which the kitchen is integrated. There are parking spaces at the house and the bicycles can be safely parked in the property. A very big thank you goes to our dear hosts Sandra and John, who were very attentive. As a welcome there was a cherry cake and a bottle of wine was already waiting in the refrigerator. The towels and bed linen were changed on request. A great service! We got some good tips from our hosts. Problems couldn't even arise. A note for all TV junkies. There is no TV in the property and that's a good thing ;-) We never missed it. Thanks for the nice time. Sandra and John we wish you all the best.

We were more than enthusiastic about this beautiful house! From our host Sandra we were already expected and warmly received with a delicious Kirschkuchen and other specialties from the area. The house looks exactly as in the pictures: tastefully decorated, with a great design. It was very clean and well maintained. The large and beautiful wooden terrace invites you to cozy seats ...... located directly on the Kromme Rijn. There is also the possibility to rent kayaks nearby and paddle along the river. The surrounding area is full of castles, country estates and sights (such as the Witch Scale in Oudewater) For excursions, Who likes to take trips by bike, will find many beautiful routes here. Also, Utrecht is only 20 minutes away by car - so there are many ways to spend your holidays. For us it was a wonderful, beautiful holiday and if we could we would have liked to stay longer!
