It is very minimalist, but still has everything you need. However, the stairs are not suitable for people with health limitations. They are very steep and narrow. Otherwise, we really liked it. !! A very nice operator - who also lives there. Thank you !!

I received a very warm and welcoming reception. The apartment was on the upper floor and there was plenty of space downstairs to store and charge my electric bike. The apartment has everything you need. You can easily walk up to the dyke to the Wadden Sea. It is wonderful to cycle and walk in the area.

Nice modest apartment in the attic of the barn. Bed is good. Kitchen is fine and essentials are present. Stairs are steep. For dogs and people who have difficulty walking it is a challenge to get upstairs and downstairs. Stair railing is good and sturdy.
The view is fantastic and the Wadden Sea across the road is also great. And there is peace...very much peace. Had also selected the apartment for the wood stove but unfortunately it was only allowed to be on due to incorrect heating by tenants in the past.
The owners are friendly and very helpful. Also very nice that there is a shuffleboard, table tennis table and dart board. Large garden where the dog can run around nicely.
All in all a wonderful place where we would like to come back again but then in a different season.

We were there for the third time with our dog and, as always, it was wonderful! Very quiet, lots of privacy, a dreamlike large garden with a cozy seating area, sheltered from wind/rain, free-range chickens (fresh eggs are free), simply idyllic! The owners are super nice and friendly. We always travel with our bikes and look for wonderful cycling routes in the area, over the dunes to the beaches, or through meadows and forests in breathtakingly beautiful nature and landscapes, such as the Helder, Julianadorp, Callantsoog, or with the ferry just across to Texel. We will be back next Easter holidays!
