The comfortable, modern holiday apartments in I Turchesi are located around a large swimming pool in an exclusively designed low-rise building (max. two floors). This does not mean that your holiday apartment is located directly by the swimming pool. There is always a footpath and a green strip between the holiday apartments and the swimming pool.
The holiday apartments are available in two versions: a holiday apartment for 4 people with one bedroom (IT-74010-01 = Type Standard, IT-74010-04 = Type Comfort)). This type of apartment is usually on the first floor. They have a covered balcony with garden furniture. There is also a 6-person, two-bedroom type (IT-74010-02 = Type Standard, IT-74010-05 = Type Comfort). Most holiday apartments of this type are on the ground floor and have an unfenced garden with a covered terrace and garden furniture.
All holiday apartments are fully furnished and equipped with a comfortable sofa bed in the living room, a dishwasher in the kitchen and air conditioning.
The mandatory service costs on site are for the club card (€65 per adult, €30 per child from 4 to 12 years old). With this card you have access to the private beach with 1 parasol, 1 deck chair and 1 sun lounger per apartment, shuttle service to the beach, swimming pool, small fitness room, animation, mini club (4-12 years), junior club (12-17 years), tournaments, use of the soccer field, beach soccer, beach volleyball, tennis court. Animation, beach service and shuttle are from May 26th. until 08.09. available.
If desired, an additional parasol can be reserved when booking (subject to availability: €20 per day).

Pets only up to 17 kg. Dogs are not allowed in the shared facilities.

I Turchesi - Club Village is a large and exclusive resort, located only 3.5 km from the beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear sea. The center of Castellaneta Marina lies around 1 km away.
In addition to the many facilities, it has 152 comfortable and modern apartments. These were built in low buildings (two floors max.), situated around the very large communal swimming pool (5500 m2, making it the largest outdoor swimming pool of Italy according to some people). Cars can be parked on the guarded central parking lot. This means a car-free yard, so your children can have a great time playing freely and safely.
After entering the central reception, your holiday can start immediately. Here you can also find a bar, a kiosk, and several slot machines. A little further on, you can go back outside. Here you can find the theatre and the place where the fun animation team organizes their activities for young and old. Climb the stairs to the lovely restaurant with a large terrace. Don't forget to ask the friendly staff for recommendations, and you will be treated to the culinary gems that the kitchen has to offer. Further on, surrounded by palm trees and other "subtropical" plantation, you can walk along the immense swimming pool towards your apartment. It is lovely spending leisure time by the pool. There are plenty of opportunities to play for your children, they won't be bored for a second.
However, there is also plenty to do in the area. A free shuttle-service will bring you to the beach and back to the resort. Puglia is a region known for its history, culture, and refined kitchen. The following day-trips are certainly worth a visit. The caves of Castellana; an underground adventure on a road of approximately 2 km long. Alberobello, known for its unique stone buildings, has been listed on the UNESCO world heritage list since 1996. A safari in Fasano; here you can drive between tigers, giraffes, lions, and elephants, among others. A true adventure. Within 40 minutes of the resort you can find Matera, \"Citta della pietra\", or \"the city of stone\". The Sassi district was largely cut out of the sandstone. The first holes for people to live in were already dug out in prehistoric times. This phenomena, too, was deemed a world heritage site by UNESCO, making the list in 1993. For the real thrill-seekers, there is the descent by zip-line from Pietrapertosa to Castelmezzano.
In terms of culinary adventures there is also plenty to do; the wines, the olive oil, the fresh vegetables, mozzarella and other cheeses typical for this region, and of course the fish and other seafood dishes, make this a wonderful area for connoisseurs.
Excursions to the above-mentioned sights are organized by the resort, you can book these at reception. You can also book catamaran trips, during which you can spot dolphins.
I Turchesi is a modern, 4-star resort around 3.5 km away from the beautiful sandy beach. There are various facilities for young and old. For example, there is a 5500 m2 outdoor swimming pool and a great restaurant. A great destination for the entire family!
One parasol, one beach chair, and one sunbed per apartment are at your disposal on the beach.
The final cleaning is included. However, the kitchen must be clean when you leave. If it is not, a cleaning-fee of €50 will be charged.

the holiday park was great. Upon your arrival, your license plate will be written down by the security guard and this will be checked every time you want to go to the jet park. Day and night surveillance at the gate but also at the park. At the reception they only spoke poor English. Furthermore, the check-in went very smoothly, even when we arrived more than 45 minutes earlier than the actual check-in time. Through a beautifully landscaped and maintained garden we walked past the huge swimming pool to our apartment. This was very disappointing. The furniture is very diverse and old. Poor beds (even with the stacking of two mattresses on top of each other our daughters were miserable), lots of mold in the bathrooms, a loose kitchen faucet and other malfunctioning kitchen appliances. After reporting a part of the mold was polished away and a broken chair replaced, but there was not much to do about the rest. We were allowed to switch to another apartment but when we viewed this we saw similar defects. The pool is really very large. You can go in with air mattresses etc. and nobody is bothered by it because there is enough space. A water trolley field is standard. The animation provides entertainment in a non-intrusive way. The music is quite loud. There are plenty of sun beds. Water was very clean.

Reception was fine, as was the accommodation. The apartment is spacious, bright and fully furnished, only the beds were less comfortable. Within walking distance there is not much to do in the omgeving.Een car is necessary to explore the sights in the area.

We were kindly received. The koofers were brought to the apartment ibvm car-free park. The accommodation was perfect! Nice clean apartment, beautiful garden. The location of our apartment was good. Fortunately not near the entertainment stage here until late in the evening loud music. In the vicinity of the resort is plenty to see. By car, the distance to the beach is perfect!

Warm welcome, beautiful pool, and atmospheric accommodation. The village is at bicycle distance, other sights by car distance. Animation is emphatically present, but not intrusive. Have had two nice weeks at this location.

A nice location with children. Top pool, nice beach location, friendly staff and many facilities (tennis, shop, restaurant). An important side note is the apartment, which is very basic without comfort (bad beds, no good shower).

Fine and neat park, beautifully landscaped garden and clean apartment. The (Italian) animation at the pool that continues throughout the day is very noisy. Swimming pool is big, but a pity that there is no slide.
