The surroundings are beautiful, but unfortunately there is very little to experience. A (rent) car is actually a must, a lot of pity if you want to drink a little while. We had to search as our navigation referred us over a dirt road. Once the dirt taken you come out on a nice apartment complex situated on a wine farm which has been refurbished to stay. Wonderfully quiet and nice owner. Very much enjoyed the area. Highly recommended.

The apartment is spacious but a bit old-fashioned furnishings. The town of Vinci is on the next hill and in the distance you can see the castle and the city wall zien.In the environment there is more than just Florence. Empoli (10 km) has a nice center and is not at all touristy. The operation came with your smartphone, and a translation app to help with menu choice)

We had a great vacation at this place, which was especially enjoy the magnificent views and tranquility here. From the house, we have made several trips to neighboring towns made, what to do was fine with the car or by train from the nearby Empoli. Also had a perfect day after renting mountain bikes (can through the property, but we have the bike shop do this directly in the neighboring village). Delicious and intense cycling in the mountains there, but what was that enjoy! The house itself is neat, though we missed some cool (in the form of eg an Airco), because only the fan in our bedroom was in our opinion what little. The son of the owner who speaks reasonably good English was very helpful and tried to do to make sense. Quite simple to us all in his way The owner herself was very nice but spoke very limited English. It was nice that they were present when necessary, but we found it especially nice that they did not impose itself if you had not asked. If we have to specify a minus is that we (and we heard the same from the other guests) have had bugs, a lot of trouble, especially mosquitoes, which of course was not pleasant. It was

The house is beautifully kept and quiet between vineyards. An ideal place to base yourself to use all the beautiful towns and places of Tuscany. The train station in Empoli is only a fifteen minutes drive away. The house with the surrounding garden and swimming pool offer the possibility after a busy day visiting cities, weather as delightful to come. The owner is friendly and many are present. Our apartment is the most modern conveniences, a kitchen (with oven and kitchen utensils), large bedroom and a good bathroom. Both daytime and s "at night it is quiet in the area. By the typical Tuscan landscape where the home center responsible tap also nearby not bored. Good base for day trips. Do take anti-mosquito stuff and something for the itching / pain decrease after you are stung. Bikers beware .... last 150 meters is a dirt and the occasional bad passable path, especially during or after a rainstorm.

Fantastic location, friendly administrator. The apartment for 2, that we had hired, was a beautiful, sunny apartment with basic interior and stunning views. Suggestion: a radio / CD would reassure the house interior may be added. There were also some problems during the shower to get hot water constantly. It is a quiet place to stay. The other families are present but if you really want to spend your holiday individually, this can be. There is sufficient space for the necessary privacy. Nice pool too! Vinci is a great starting corner to other places in Tuscany. Dorpt It also offers plenty of opportunities for all needs. Vinci, a must!

The bed was horible, lumps and spings. The toiletseat didn't fit and was loose. Plenty of space. Bathroom was old and the pool was OK, sunbeds in bad condition but usable.

The location of the apartment is very good. The village of Vinci is about 20 minutes' walk away, so you can also walk to a restaurant in the evening when it has cooled down. In addition, the complex is also located between many different nice cities to visit, such as Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa and Florence. You can also choose to drive to Empoli station by car to catch the train to the larger city. The facilities on site are also very nice. The swimming pool is of course a big plus with the ( sun loungers and umbrellas around it.The communal barbecue is nice.We also received help from an owner to light it in the traditional way with gathered wood.The only drawback is that our host was not aware of our booking He indicated that unfortunately we had to sleep for one night in a small apartment on a sofa bed.This was not a problem at first, he also felt very embarrassed and tried to solve it in poor English, but the next day this had gone wrong again, so we couldn't stay in our booked apartment for another night. Fortunately, the third day went well; but unfortunately we had to sleep in another apartment for 2 of the 5 nights. All in all, we really had a great time here! So the only pity was staying in another apartment for almost half of the booking.
