What a charming place! The wooden staircase added character, and the layout was perfect for us. We really loved the balcony with a view, especially in the evening. The location was ideal for exploring the area, including Lugano, which was just a short drive away. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to relax in a beautiful setting!

A wonderful retreat! The accommodation was beautifully decorated and the hosts were incredibly hospitable. We appreciated the quiet location, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Closer to restaurants like Locanda San Martino, we had some delicious meals. Just a heads-up, the stairs may not be suitable for young children, but it suited us just fine.

This vacation house was exactly what we needed for our short trip. It was clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable kitchen that made meal preparation easy. The living room was a nice place to relax with a TV and a cozy seating area. We appreciated being so close to Lake Como for some scenic hikes. The only downside was the wooden stairs that could be tricky for smaller children, but overall, a good option for a small group!

The house was exactly as described, with a peaceful retreat and great views. Although the stairs can be a concern for families with young children, it worked well for us. We enjoyed visiting the nearby Villa Carlotta and the hiking trails. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a bonus for us.

Overall, a pleasant experience at Casa Paeset. The accommodation is very spacious with two bedrooms that provided enough space for our group of three. The bathroom was modern and clean, and we enjoyed a separate workspace. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made our stay even better. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trails, and the area around Lake Como is simply breathtaking. Would definitely consider returning!

We can warmly recommend Pietro's cottage to everyone for their holiday on Lake Como. The pretty little house is an old stone house, which stands in a small hilltop village. This has been modernized and is very well equipped. Pietro gave us the keys personally and explained the most important things about the house to us. Both check-in and check-out can also be done via a digital key box if it should be later. The location is not only great for excursions on Lake Como, but also offers a breathtaking view from the balcony over the entire Como Lake. The 15-minute drive up to 630 meters above sea level over the tarred hairpin bends is always worth it. There is a parking lot just a few meters away from the house. What we particularly noticed positively: - The heavenly peace combined with a great view - Pietro is a very friendly and dear host, the communication via Google translator works well. We enjoyed the nice exchange despite the language barrier between Italian and German - The balcony on the lake & sunny side invites you to linger and eat outside - Air conditioning is not required even on hot days due to the construction of the houseTips for your stay: - Perfect for a "workation" with a great view (Internet via mobile phone at Vodafone IT with 30 Mibits, for less than 20€ there are 150GB at ho mobile) - don't forget binoculars/camera with lens, so you can see much more in the distance on the lake or by the villages on the other side- Less than 200m as the crow flies there is a farm that sells its own products such as eggs and goat cheese at fair prices and in top quality.- At the end of the serpentines, in the next larger village, there are four Charging stations for electric vehicles, that can be combined with an evening meal.
