A rustic, tasteful holiday home in Carcente with wooden flooring. 3 people can be hosted in 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. With a balcony here overlooking a splendid view of Lake Como, you will surely be in awe. The holiday home is spread over two floors with a night floor and a day floor, connected via wooden staircase which is certainly not suitable for kids aged below 6 years.
The center of San Siro Rezzonico is 5.5 km away and Lake Como is just 200 m from the property. A visit to Lugano is certainly worthwhile (48 km) and you can enjoy hiking in the area. A drive would lead you to tour around the nearby hotspots.
The well-equipped kitchen offers you the chance to prepare your favorite dishes and the sleeping rooms have comfortable beds. The living room has a sitting area and a TV and you can end the day relaxed with a cup of tea on the balcony with a view.

The holiday home had everything you need. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and view are top notch.

We can warmly recommend Pietro's cottage to everyone for their holiday on Lake Como. The pretty little house is an old stone house, which stands in a small hilltop village. This has been modernized and is very well equipped. Pietro gave us the keys personally and explained the most important things about the house to us. Both check-in and check-out can also be done via a digital key box if it should be later. The location is not only great for excursions on Lake Como, but also offers a breathtaking view from the balcony over the entire Como Lake. The 15-minute drive up to 630 meters above sea level over the tarred hairpin bends is always worth it. There is a parking lot just a few meters away from the house. What we particularly noticed positively: - The heavenly peace combined with a great view - Pietro is a very friendly and dear host, the communication via Google translator works well. We enjoyed the nice exchange despite the language barrier between Italian and German - The balcony on the lake & sunny side invites you to linger and eat outside - Air conditioning is not required even on hot days due to the construction of the houseTips for your stay: - Perfect for a "workation" with a great view (Internet via mobile phone at Vodafone IT with 30 Mibits, for less than 20€ there are 150GB at ho mobile) - don't forget binoculars/camera with lens, so you can see much more in the distance on the lake or by the villages on the other side- Less than 200m as the crow flies there is a farm that sells its own products such as eggs and goat cheese at fair prices and in top quality.- At the end of the serpentines, in the next larger village, there are four Charging stations for electric vehicles, that can be combined with an evening meal. In a nutshell: We'd love to come back, we're looking forward to it

The village with the house was very remote from the lake, it was necessary to drive 10 more serpentines from the lake. From the Dorffarkplatz it was about 80 m steeply uphill to the house on a bad path. We didn't like that so much. There is nothing negative to say about the accommodation.
