Family getaway for five days. The chalet offered plenty of space and privacy since neighbors were well spaced out. The garden furniture on the terrace created relaxing evenings with beautiful views over the valley below.

At first, I was skeptical because of the parking, but the direct access to the chalet made it very convenient. The open kitchen made cooking after hikes easier. It was nice to sit on the terrace and enjoy the forest before starting new tours.

To reach the sleeping area, you had to climb a steep ladder, which was not possible for me. As a result, I had to sleep on the couch. This should have been mentioned in the description. It was not a pleasant experience, and because of this, we left for home earlier. Cooking was poorly possible because the induction plate did not function properly. The bathroom was fine, the balcony and view were nice, the manager was friendly, but overall it was a disappointment and not something we would repeat.

Accommodation and furnishings in a dilapidated, dirty condition. Unkempt balcony floor is slippery. Dust and hair everywhere in the accommodation. Stove top greasy, dirt crusts. Cutlery drawers crammed with food remnants. Dishes and cutlery collected as if from a household clearance, no sharp knives. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures wobbly to broken. Shower head with mold, shower with mold, toilet and everything else only superficially cleaned. Ventilation creates dripping noise directly at the bed. Extremely steep stairs to the bed. Electric fireplace smells disgusting when turned on. Refrigerator, handles of the drawers sticky and messy.

We did not stay more than 20 minutes in this chalet; as we got out of the car, we heard the incessant noise of the traffic from the main road just below. Upon opening the door: surprise, the listing mentioned 50m2, but that includes the terrace which must be about 15m2. On the ground floor, according to the description: living room, lounge area, dining room, open kitchen, fireplace... upon entering the room, about 3.5 meters from the entrance, there was the table and then the kitchen area with a sink, refrigerator without a freezer as expected, and 2 cooking burners instead of 3... the bathroom was as described, a very steep staircase leading to a sloped area: "the first floor"!! There were 2 mattresses almost on the floor and very close together; you had to bend down to go to bed. The lounge area with a sofa, without a CD player, under the sleeping area must not have been more than 5m2. The owner called us in the morning to tell us that it was not chalet C, as planned, but D... We called him later, and he told us that the studio matched the listing and that in any case, we would not be refunded... At the tourist office, this Mr. Martens is well known; we were offered another rental, and for one week we paid for two rentals... It is outrageous to offer studios at these prices while playing with photos taken from well-chosen angles with fake comments. We can send you ours, which are more explicit... I booked through Abritel, which subcontracts with you; it’s a bit complicated and dishonest because there is no real responsible party... In the future, we will do without your platforms.

Upon entering the room, about 3.50 meters from the entrance, the table then the kitchen corner with sink, refrigerator without freezer as planned, and 2 cooking burners instead of 3... bathroom in accordance with the description, a very steep miller's staircase leading to a sloped area: "the 1st floor"!! There were 2 mattresses almost at floor level and very close together; one had to bend down to go to bed. The living area with a sofa, without a CD player, under the sleeping corner, was not supposed to be more than 5m². The owner had called us in the morning to tell us that it was not chalet C, as planned, but D... We called him later, he told us that the studio matched the advertisement and that in any case we would not be refunded... At the tourist office, this Mr. Martens is well known, we were offered another rental, for one week we paid for two rentals... It's scandalous to offer studios at these prices by playing with photos taken from well-chosen angles with fake comments. We can send you ours that are more explicit... Nice complete chalet with beautiful views. The friendly manager Jean-Pierre Christiaens regularly comes to inquire whether everything is to your liking. The arrival was problematic. According to Belvilla, Chalet "le renard" is no 20c, but in reality this is 20d. At the very top left. Number 20c does exist, but did not have a house number on 24/7/21 and could therefore not be found on the site. The key box did not work. Belvilla had previously provided a 6-digit code for a digital box, while the key box has a 4-digit number lock. But even with the correct code from Jean-pierre, the box can often not be opened. So don't use it. Luckily the door was open and the key was on the inside of the door. After this problematic arrival we had a good time and made beautiful walks. The neighbors have actually cycled a lot; can also. The park with chalets is located a few hundred meters from a main road through the valley. It is therefore not quiet, but fortunately not annoyingly noisy either. Had no problems with mosquitoes.

The landlord took good care of us, the chalet was very clean and is in an excellent location, we have nice weather so enjoy.

Nice complete chalet with beautiful views. The friendly manager Jean-Pierre Christiaens regularly comes to inquire whether everything is to your liking. The arrival was problematic. According to Belvilla, Chalet "le renard" is no 20c, but in reality this is 20d. At the very top left. Number 20c does exist, but did not have a house number on 24/7/21 and could therefore not be found on the site. The key box did not work. Belvilla had previously provided a 6-digit code for a digital box, while the key box has a 4-digit number lock. But even with the correct code from Jean-pierre, the box can often not be opened. So don't use it. Luckily the door was open and the key was on the inside of the door. After this problematic arrival we had a good time and made beautiful walks. The neighbors have actually cycled a lot; can also. The park with chalets is located a few hundred meters from a main road through the valley. It is therefore not quiet, but fortunately not annoyingly noisy either. Had no problems with mosquitoes.
