This attractive detached house borders a forest on 1 side and is particularly suitable for families holidaying together. There is a large, enclosed garden with private swimming pool (8x4m), trampoline, table tennis table and sports field: young and old can enjoy themselves here for hours. There is a large, covered terrace which overlooks the pool and garden. Of course, there are plenty of sunbeds and garden furniture, and the large barbecue completes it all!
Piquecos is a small picturesque hilltop village in the Tarn-et-Garonne, on one of the southern foothills of the Massif Central. There are many medieval towns worth seeing such as Montpezat-de-Quercy, Caylus, or Moissac with its St Peter's abbey church, water bridge over the river and fruit market. Nearby, you will find lakes for water sports (giant slide, canoe, pedalo). The bakery is within cycling distance. With a convenient location, general supplies in 5 km and Lafrancaise lake is available in just 10 km. Nightlife can be enjoyed in just 12 km.
You enter in the cosy living room (TV with Dutch channels and stereo), with a cosy sitting area, a large dining table and behind it the open kitchen which is very well equipped. There is a large bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, while the other rooms plus 2nd bathroom are on the 1st floor. Everything is bright and spacious.
The nearest Toulouse airport is just about 75 km away. Motorway in just 5 km.
Note: The swimming pool is only available from June to September. In June and September, the swimming pool is only available for rentals of at least 1 week.

Highly recommended, the house is located in a beautiful neighborhood and surrounded by beautiful nature. It is furnished with the utmost care, also super neat on arrival, many amenities such as a modern well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and laundry area, super comfortable sun loungers at the pool and on the terrace, beautiful BBQ and plancha for outdoor baking, very spacious garden with a beautifully screened corner for privacy on the terrace and swimming pool, many play areas for the children, spacious parking with handy gate, comfortable beds, spacious rooms.
We received a nice explanation from the concierge and nice gifts upon arrival. It was a very pleasant stay.
There are walks nearby for the dogs, the Gué de Piquecos is a must!
The garden is fully fenced but with low wire. Because of the neighbors' dogs, it is best to keep larger dogs on a leash.

Beautiful house and beautiful garden. The lady who gave us the key and explanation was very friendly and took all the time to explain everything. Beautiful and quiet environment. Everything you need.

Super equipped large villa in a very quiet area. The welcome was fine, friendly & with a bottle of wine. Nice swimming pool, and if the weather is bad (which was quite the case with us), there are several nice places in the area (~30 km) definitely worth a visit. We had a good time there, with on top, for the amateurs, a beautiful starry sky at night - you can't see with us due to light pollution. Minuses: We had no hot water the 1st evening. I have the impression that we -e visitors of the season were, after covid & the solution was eventually quite clumsy: fuse was off. Was solved quite simply after a phone call to the owner, & with a friendly neighbor. Furthermore, the finishing of the terrace & around the swimming pool is not that good (loose tiles, crooked tiles ..). No mood breakers & all in all I can definitely recommend this one.

The hostess could not receive us so we were received by the neighbor of the house with 2 bottles of French wine. Nice what the neighbor could speak English ... :-). Great house, on arrival according to my children a top house! It really is a complete house. Almost everything was there. Bed linen, kitchen linen, inflatable pool floaties, flashlights, sunbeds, balls, tennis rackets, badminton rackets, board game, Dutch reading books, DVDs, Dutch TV, even bicycles (we haven't used them yet), even various kitchen herbs, garage, 2 fridges / freezer, washing machine, etc. A lovely large swimming pool. The neighbor had prepared the pool for us on arrival. As can be read, you have to do the robot pool cleaner in the pool every other day to keep everything clean. But that is no further effort. At the end of the day in and out before dark. Robot will do the rest. Positive: - The house is in a beautiful quiet area high in the mountains. - Little light around the house, so with a clear sky you can watch the stars in the evening. We did almost every evening.- Beautiful surroundings with sunflower fields- Large house and lots of space- Complete house, the craziest things are available- There is plenty to do in and around the house (swimming, swing, football, jumping on trampoline, table tennis, jeu de boules, NL TV, in the area: canoeing, karting) - Despite being high in the mountains, the supermarket is relatively close by car 10 minutes. - Possibility to order homemade crossaints at the local bakery. You won't find that in NL. Very tasty.- Price quality ratio of the house is more than good. After a day some hiccups noticed by the kids ... No bad hiccups as far as I am concerned, but still as a point of attention: - Internet was super slow. You do have internet to check your mail, among other things. Searching for other things on the internet or gaming online is actually not possible or you have to be very patient. But well a week without inter

Arrival ok, holiday home very nice and well maintained.Seul concern: the evacuations of water are very sensitive and were clogged halfway through our stay despite the precautions taken, problem apparently well known owners, evidenced by the posters in the toilet + comments from neighbors

The house, garden and pool were well stocked and as it looks in the pictures. The patio and garden had uneven surfaces outside, cracked tiles, weeds, the grass was long and had not been cut for some time plus there were 2 dog poos in the lawn. It was however a peaceful and quiet place to stay and enjoy a family holiday with plenty to do in the local area. Our arrival was not as smooth as we hoped, the caretaker who greeted us was super friendly and showed us around with good explanations despite the language differences. There was confusion from the host over how many bedrooms we could stay in and the need to bring and hire bed linen despite the website details clearly stating 5 bedrooms available and having previously paid for bed linen in our invoice, this made a difficult start to the holiday, paying extra for bed linen and making our own beds after 2 long days travelling. This was later sorted out but please ensure it is clear before you go so you don’t have this issue. Also be aware that you need to clean and add chemicals to the pool. Air con or fans in the bedrooms would be good as it got incredibly hot.
