Guests can also enjoy access to a heated indoor pool, sauna, and on-site fitness centre—ideal for relaxing après-ski.
Nestled in Flaine’s snow-sure “big snowy bowl,” Les Portes du Grand Massif puts you steps from the piste and ski lift. You can literally ski out your door and be whisked into the vast Grand Massif terrain. For your return, a free ski bus brings you back to the resort with ease. During warmer months, enjoy hiking trails, scenic alpine views, and charming nearby villages like Arâches-La-Frasse and Samoëns.
This pet-friendly escape welcomes four-legged companions! Take a snowy stroll with your pup to the Lac de Vernant, or let them run freely at the Arâches forest trails. Afterwards, sample hearty Savoyard cuisine at nearby restaurants like Le Michet or Le Sérac—both a short drive away and dog-friendly on their terraces. Whether you're traveling with friends, family, or pets, this alpine gem has something for everyone!

This stunning, four-star residence is located right beneath the mountain pass towards the Flaine bowl. Built in an authentic chalet style, this resort offers the most spectacular views and also acts as an exceptional starting point for an exciting day of skiing in the winter or a day full of hiking and biking in the summer. On the other side of the road, there is a piste that you can follow to the nearest ski lift. You can return by taking the free ski bus that drops off in front of the complex.
In the resort, there is a parking garage (for a fee), a reception desk, ski lockers, ski lifts, an information desk, ski shop with ski rental, fitness room, sauna, and indoor swimming pool.
If you do not feel like cooking yourself, the chef at our own Bistro Le Refuge is ready and waiting to prepare delicious regional dishes and internationally acclaimed menu items, all paired with superior wine selections. Whether you choose to sit at the bar or on the charming terrace, you will be able to share your experience and make new friends.

The location is ideal for ski enthusiasts, just a few steps from the ski lifts, we were able to maximize our time on the slopes. The apartment itself was comfortable and had a nice balcony.

What a gem! The interior was beautifully decorated and very clean. We appreciated the little touches, like the coffee machine. After a day of skiing, the complex's sauna was a relaxing bonus.

We had a great weekend here! The apartment was perfect for our needs, with plenty of space. The skiing was fantastic, and we enjoyed the convenience of the ski bus to get around.
