Les Portes de Megève is a small-scale, luxury holiday resort consisting of 18 magnificent chalets and 7 very comfortable apartments in different sizes. It enjoys a beautiful, hillside setting in between the charming town of Megève and the village of Praz-sur-Arly. The chalets and the apartment building are all built in traditional style with the use of wood, natural stone and high-quality materials throughout. The atmosphere is characterised by luxury and excellence. The apartments sleep from 4 to 9 guests and the chalets from 6 to 14 guests. Some of the chalets are detached, some are semi-detached and the rest are terraced in blocks of three.

All accommodations feature a luxury, stylish interior and are equipped with a complete kitchenette, an attractive living room with flat-screen TV and a nice balcony or terrace. In the chalets, you'll also find a wood-burning stove and interesting, sloping ceilings.

Megève is a stylish and posh mountain village in the Haute-Savoie. This is a great place to be, both in summer and in winter; especially for those who love stylish boutiques, good restaurants and an authentic village centre.

Les Chalets du Prariand is located at about 1.5 km from the centre and the first ski lifts and pistes.

Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the skiing area of Evasion-Mont-Blanc. A large skiing area with about 440 km in pistes, at about an hour's drive from Geneva. The area consists of several different villages/regions like Megève, Saint-Gervais, Les Contamines and La Giettaz. This area is less well-known than other huge skiing areas in France, but Evasion-Mont-Blanc is one of the largest skiing areas in the world. Not all pistes and lifs are interconnected, but you can reach everything with free ski buses. Each area has its own ski pass.

Evasion-Mont-Blanc may be situated at the foot of the steep Mount Blanc range, but the area itself is rolling. Between beautiful forests, you'll find open mountain slopes, where you'll find grazing cows during the summer. In the winter these slopes turn into ski pistes. Of course you'll also find some more challenging pistes, but compared to other places in France, this is lovely and not so steep! It's rather more like Austria. Ideal for beginners and people with a little more experience, who would like many kilometres at their disposal.

The summer is also vibrant with mountain sports activities: you can go for long walking or mountain biking tours and enjoy the warm Alpine sun and the beautiful views from the different outdoor cafes. The lovely, green mountain pastures around Megève are breathtaking.

A fantastic stay! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The sauna was a nice addition after a day of skiing, and it was great to relax in such a beautiful setting.

Such a cozy spot! The interior was beautifully decorated and very inviting, We took advantage of the local dining scene, especially loved the pizza place just down the road, Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!
