Beautifully situated house, spacious and well equipped. Located on a cul de sac in a hamlet just above Dabo. Wonderful walks from the cottage.

This cottage in Dabo us (husband, wife and daughter of 7) ensured a good holiday week! You should be especially in this area if you like walking \/ hiking trails and mountain setting \/ beautiful course. Super were, however, the view from a rock about 200 meters away from this house. Also at the top at the church Dabo, fantastic views! You can swim in the small lake in Walscheid. In the cottage really everything a man could wish, with all amenities and resources! But you do not like to wake up with a rooster, then crawl into the bedroom on the right side of the cottage. Overall, a hotspot for sure not too much money (still important). Welcoming people. And, although it is not listed, wifi is available. Just look up the network and the WPA key typing under the modem and you're done!

We had a great time in and around this house. The steep driveway takes some getting used to the 1st time and the tip to drive on it from the other side was very useful. The neighbors do have some animals walking, but we have not had much trouble with that (the dog only barks when someone walks by and that is not often, and we have not heard the rooster before 10 o'clock). walking, with quite a bit of height difference. The boat lift in Saint-Louis Arzviller is fun to see in operation. And Strasbourg is a nice town, where the P&R is handy to use. An hour's drive, but you can combine that with shopping, because that is also quickly a half hour drive from the house. The key manager Margot is very friendly and speaks German and French

Great holiday home.Ruim for a family with two children. Nicely located. Well equipped. Friendly landlords. We enjoyed. Be careful with small children: the garden slopes steeply to the road. And a bit bothered by the neighbor's rooster at five or six in the morning.

Arrival excellent, friendly hostess.The house is spacious and the location is very quiet and beautiful. Nice that there are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. The kitchen stuff must be checked once and replaced. Incomplete pans, loose teflon layer in the frying pan and superb kitchen knives. The house is a short walk / bike ride from the center.

We were warmly welcomed by the German (and English) speaking hostess. There was a bottle of bubbles waiting for us. The house is well furnished, everything you need is sufficient, but we did miss serving spoons as we are used to. We also missed towel hooks in the kitchen. The beds were unfortunately not long enough for two people in our party. We have also experienced the problems with the mattress that has been written before.Well a beautiful environment, but it is a pity that the neighbor's roosters crow at night and during the day.

From the village of Dabo you drive up a small road up the mountain along a few beautiful rock formations. at the house you have to drive up a little to the parking lot (it is more convenient to continue driving and then drive forward) The house was neat and clean when we arrived, the owner had informed the owner in advance that these in the garage (in the garage is a washer and dryer available!) The kitchen is fully equipped, electric gas stove with oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher (!) in the living room a large dining table with 8 chairs, a couch with chairs and (small) TV but great image. large garden that surrounds the house with a few nice lounge chairs and an outdoor set and barbecue. upstairs 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds and 1 room with 3 single beds, and a cot. enough closet space and night lights. a bathroom with bath and toilet, on the 1st floor a separate toilet and a separate shower. Was very good to do with 2 adults and 5 children. shutters on the windows were very nice when it was so hot (it was 40 degrees when we were there) you are very free, next to it is a farm but the only thing you heard is the watchdog or the geese. In Dabo is a supermarket and about 25 minutes drive a large Intermache in Phalsbourg. We went to the little church on the rock in Dabo (very beautiful), to a castle ruin in Lutzenbourg and to Strasbourg, a beautiful city with a center with a real medieval character. from the house you can take several walking routes over the mountain (Grand Ballerstein) we have taken the route of 8 kilometers and is very beautiful with forest, rocks and differences in height. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

We have two wonderful weeks holiday in this quietly located house. The house is located quite remote on a hill near Dabo. The neighbors have geese, sheep, chickens (and a rooster) and dog. In addition to the occasional rooster and dog it is very quiet. From the house there is a beautiful rock walk to Circuit du dieu Baldur. Well-stocked supermarket in the village of Dabo. The house is fully equipped. Sights in the region include the rock of Dabo, the ship lift in Arzviller, Concentration camp Natzweiler-Struthof, Mount Le Donon, Saverne town, Maisons de Trogloditiques. Swimming is great in the lake in Walscheid. Overall a wonderful place to discover this part of the Vosges! In Sarrebourg (half an hour drive) there is a Lidl and there are large supermarkets.

Rent this cottage! It was great! It is a lovely house, very complete, fairly luxurious comfort and in a truly great environment. Also definitely recommended for hiking enthusiasts. I say go for it.

Very comfortable house with pretty little garden and steep. Too steep driveway but otherwise very quiet and wooded area. Tasty food can be anywhere here and for the children there is the swimming lake in Walscheid, the animal park in St-Croix and of course the beautiful forest walks. A little further away you have the Alsace where Haut-Konigsberg and Colmar are well worth a visit. Cool vacation spot can relax. Thanks !!!

In August 2012 we had a very nice holiday in Dabo. The house is more than complete and the setting is lovely. Directly from the house you into the woods. And want some more? Then you only have a minute ride and you can walk everywhere. For shopping you can go to Dabo itself.

Friendly welcome, spacious house, beautiful location. Impressive rocks, along the road to holiday home. Garden around the house contains many insects and birds. In case of warm weather, sufficient shade through covering. From the house and in the surroundings are beautiful walks, which are very well indicated, to do with beautiful rocks. Highly recommended for sporty hikers.
