Nice holiday home, furnished with great care. Good furniture and good beds. Kindly received by the owner, a bottle of regional wine was ready for us. Lovely large garden with many shady spots and beautiful views over the fields. Nice area with Duras nearby, with several good restaurants. Only downside is the busy thoroughfare for the house.

It was a fantastic week in this beautiful house, where nothing is missing. The house is in a nice area, with many opportunities for visiting picturesque towns and making beautiful tours and walks. Sarlat is worth, but also the market on Monday in Duras's very cozy. The owner is welcoming and friendly. Overall recommended. Rick and Trijntje Faas

This cottage has been carefully and lovingly furnished by the owner no "mass" stuff but lovely matching (ancient?) Furniture. This immediately gives a good atmosphere. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly fine and very schoon.Erg pleasant veranda at the front / side. Delicious breakfast in the sun "in the morning and shade in the afternoon. Tastefully decorated cottages with two lovely bedrooms. For a young family with baby and toddler this was for us an ideal location to explore the region. Between Lot and Garonne The hospitality and availability of hosts, who live just past the home is definitely a plus. It is located a stone's throw from the small village where Duras us a free drink and buffet with regional products offered. Recommended are the numerous organized markets (morning and evening) in the nearby villages and towns, each with their own traditions.

The house is fantastic and the reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, the owner hardly speaks English and the explanation about the house was given mainly in French. Everything is present in the house and the accommodation is very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, you can not receive Dutch channels on the satellite TV. The double beds are narrow and short but the mattresses are fine. The house is on a large private grounds and you have a lot of privacy. It is quite far from the busy busy road but the traffic is quite audible. At night you do not suffer from closed shutters. In the evening no lighting is visible in the entire area of the house. There is a dump and the road does not have street lighting.

The beautiful garden with many birds, beautiful covered tiled terrace around the cottage offer every conceivable privacy.De reception was very warm and was on the table a bottle of delicious wine Dura. The region is one big wijngaard.Er are also many opportunities for cycling.

La Coquette is a beautiful gite, very well appointed and comfortable just 5 minutes from the interesting town of Duras, with it's lovely chateau. There always seemed to be something going on! We were very impressed by the welcome meeting for new visitors, held in the town square on Sunday morning, and also the Medieval Festival which was amazing, and completely free! Celine, our host, was charming and helpful, and very patient with our limited French! We particularly appreciated the complimentary bottle of local wine on our arrival, and the big bag of walnuts (very nice with Roquefort cheese!) The gite is next to an equestrian centre, and watching the horses was very relaxing. The local Carrefour Contact in Duras is open on Sunday morning, which was good, and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday, although there are lots of places to eat in the town. The petrol station accepts UK credit cards. A visit to the Chateau is a must, with amazing views from the tower. Thank you, Celine for a great holiday.

Simply wonderful holiday home, one couldn"t wish for anything more. Attentive and friendly hosts, peaceful surroundings (though the nearby road can be heard), huge garden, all the facilities one could need.

Beautiful, large yard, house is fully equipped, excellent toilet facilities. However, it is a great distance to the sights of the Dordogne. If one chooses the Dordogne, this house is too far away. Duras is nearby and it is a nice and cozy place.

Very friendly hostess. Practical house that is decorated with taste and has a lovely terrace. Garden with trees and pond, at the back of the horse whey. Situated in a hilly and varied landscape.

The house owners were very friendly and welcoming. The house looks very nicely finished and everything you need is there. There are many bastides in the area and Agen and Villeneuve sur Lot are recommended as large towns. A large Leclerck which is also very cheap compared to many other supermarkets is in Pineuilh, only 20 minutes away.
Arne Geldhof
We were very well received, sufficient explanation about the house, many tips about the area. Well-appointed house, nice garden. Everything is in Duras from supermarket to baker butcher, eateries. Many attractions nearby.
Eve Thielemans
2nd year that we spent our vacation here. Beautiful region, a comfortable house with beautiful garden and terrace, friendly owners who live next door, but more than enough privacy. We enjoyed it again!
Caroline van de Kerkhof
We had a great holiday. The gite is very attractively furnished and equipped with all comforts and very clean. The owners are very friendly and welcome you with a bottle of wine. There is much to see in the area and there is a good bakery within a 5-minute drive. A supermarket is also nearby. It did not disturb us, but there is a fairly busy road in front of it.
Eve Thielemans
3rd time we were here. During corona, the whole house got a new color and the addition of the spa the kids love. As always a warm welcome by the owners, who are always ready if you need anything or already put a bowl of tomatoes or other goodies in front of your door. A house with all comforts, tranquility and plenty to see in the area.
