Résidence Les Balcons d’Auréa enjoys a beautiful and favourable location at just 100 m from the piste. The shops, bars and restaurants are also within walking distance. Auris-en-Oisans is a quite "new" village on a sunny plateau in the Isère.
The résidence features a reception, an indoor swimming pool and fitness (free), sauna an MD hammam (for a fee), washing machine and dryer, ski storage and parking garage (for a fee; free outdoor parking in the public car park in front of the building).

Résidence Les Balcons d’Auréa is mostly suitable for families and guest who prefer to stay in a smaller village, but still with a good connection to a large skiing area. The prices here are in general lower than in the larger Alps d'Huez.
Auris-en-Oisans is located at an altitude of about 1,600 m and is part of the huge ski area 'Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine'. It's part of one of the largest skiing area in France. Thanks to 240 km of pistes, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can find a piste that meets their needs. The name 'Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine' has replaced the previous title 'Les Grandes Rousses'.
The winter sports village Auris-en-Oisans is very suitable for a relaxed winter sports holiday with children. You can reach the practice slope and the ski classes very quickly, they're only 100 metres away. The ESF ski school has a nice Piou-Piou playground for 3 to 5-years-olds. There's a special covered conveyor belt to reach it, which is also used by those who are going sledging (there's a special piste for that). In the village itself there are a few green and blue (practice) slopes and a chairlift: the Auris Express, which offers access to the large skiing area.

The location is a great summer holiday destination too, especially for active families, who will love the many hiking and mountain biking options. The Tour de France enthusiasts know the famous 21 magical curves of the L'Alpe d'Huez. Enjoy the warm sun in the Alps and the beautiful views from the different terraces.

This place was a great find! The location is perfect for skiing, just a short walk to the ski lifts. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better.

Auris-en-Oisans is a hidden gem! The apartment we stayed in was spacious and well-furnished. The nearby Écrins National Park was perfect for hiking during the day, and we enjoyed returning to our cozy base in the evening. It is definitely worth a visit!

Spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything needed for quick meals. Skiing was a delight, and the location is quiet for exploring nearby parks. Simply a perfect place to relax after enjoying the slopes.

Arrival was very bad. The reception is only open for 2 hours twice a day. When they finally open, you're almost in line for these two hours to check in, because they really want to know everything about you. In addition, you must pay service costs and deposit immediately. However, this is NOT possible with your payment card, so make sure you have a credit card or have almost € 400 in cash with you. When you have finally checked in, you can start looking for your apartment in the & gt5 apartments complexes that they have. This finally found, you can first make up your own bed and do some shopping before you can go to the bathroom (read toilet paper + cleaning stuff etc). You have to clean the whole apartment yourself before departure because they do not do that for you. You have to clean without detergents or you have to buy them in the supermarket where the prices are about 2.5 times as expensive as normal. In addition, you must make an appointment here so they check your apartment on the day of departure to see if everything is still in order. At this check you have to wait in the hallway. After this you can hope that you get back your 300 € deposit. Pros nice apartment. But there is nothing to do in the area. You do not have to be here for après ski. Well if you want to go to sleep after 18.00 hrs. In addition, you have to pay about € 41 for the TV per week and € 21 for Wi-Fi. In the apartment is super bad mobile network available.
